Hostel

The hostel is 3km far from the college, but the facilities are average. Double Sharing rooms are given to the students with AC facilities. Breakfast, Lunch, snacks, and dinner are provided on time and the quality of the food is Average. They charge you around 192000 per year for hostel Facility. Bus Service is provided for daily conveyance. Overall Hostel facility is quite below average compared to other in same fees charges. Mostly Rooms are given on shared basis. It is compulsory for non-Delhi students to stay at the hostel for 1 year while in 2-year institute will provide you an option whether to stay or leave. There is no sport or fun activity being provided in the hostel. Overall Hostel facility is run by Third party. 

LBSIM Mess

Nonveg food is not served in the mess and Mess food Menu choice is generally student chosen. They have a separate hostel for girls and boys. Girls hostel is located in sector 7 while boys hostel is located in sector 8 and sector 7 Dwarka. The process of taking hostel is quite simple and Hostel fees are to be paid yearly in Lum sump amount. The hostel room is equipped with basic Amenities like a study table, Beds, Almirahs and Balcony. Life in Hostel is good there is not such restriction provided by hostel. Both hostels are in the market area so there is no worry about fulfilling basic need like GYM, Groceries and Medicines. The location is well connected and we can easily travel to the airport and railway station. Overall Satisfactory level is not up to mark with facilities provided by the Hostel.

Placements

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 4th trimester. Numerous companies such as Asian paints, Deloitte, smart cube, EY, BCG, Bain, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Red see Consulting, RPG Group, Reliance, TAS, Adani, Perno Ricard, HUL, ITC, Asian Paints, Pidilite, Walmart, Biju’s, Uber, Of Business, Capgemini, Zensar Technologies etc. visit the campus for placement. There is 99 percent placement for all PGDM students Batch 2021 -2023. The average package ranges 11 -12 lakhs and the highest package of 25.5 lakhs was offered in the year 2022. All placement processes are student driven. There are several merits and demerits of the student driven placement process as they would not be able to attract big new recruiters or Banks and the duration of placement process is quite lengthy.

All other tiers 2 have placement agencies to strengthen their placement process, but LBSIM did not have any outside source for their placement process. Almost 95 percent of students get placed in different companies. The profile companies offered is quite good, the majority of students placed in consulting, finance, and Marketing profiles. The placement process starts from august onwards to march, good and reputed companies generally visit in the month of September. Good chunk of people placed in September itself. All Big 4 visited campus and hired a large number of people. LBSIM also provides assistance in summer placement. They have a dedicated student driven team for summer placement. Summer placement season starts from August to march. Generally, companies visiting for final placement also provide summer internships. Major recruiters in summer internships are KPMG, EY, OXANE, Amul, JIO, Aditya Birla Capital, DE SHAW AND Pine labs. Stipend Provided by companies range from unpaid to 1 Lakhs. Almost Everyone has a chance in summer Internship. Placement and Summer Internship process for year 2023 is not up to mark due recession. Life in the college

The infrastructure of the college is average. Although the classrooms are good, the campus lacks space for sports grounds and amenities. There are 14 clubs in the institute completely run by students. 'Tatva' - the annual fest of LBSIM is the most exciting and fun event of the year. There are 14 academic clubs like marketing, finance, operation and more. The best part of LBSIM is completely student driven. Placement Cell helps in managing the overall placement process in the institute, Corporate Interface Cell is a student-run initiative at LBSIM aiming for academia-industry collaboration. The initiative of this collaboration is the idea that LBSIM directs to prepare the students for the corporate world and help them sustain themselves and have an edge in this highly competitive world. Corporate Interface Cell organizes various seminars, conferences and Industrial visits in order to equip students with knowledge of the corporate world.

Alumni Cell is responsible for managing relationships with alumni of LBSIM. Management Grid is responsible for all activity and operation of the Institute. The library has a huge collection of both physical and e-books along with journals.

All classrooms are equipped with central air conditioning, projectors, whiteboards, and speakers. For sports activities Zenith the sports club is responsible and various competitions are conducted. Clubs for music, drama, social work, mental health, etc. are run by Students. Faculty member are quite good, All of them have completed their PHD and have relevant corporate exposure .Faculty to student ratio is somewhere between 1: 8 .Curriculum are design in such way in order to get proper knowledge .While overall MBA is quite hectic.

LBSIM Delhi Fest

Courses are designed on a trimester basis and students have to get 50% in internal and external in order to clear the subject .Academic Paper is bit difficult for students .College is mostly focused on academics unlike other B-schools . Most Frustrating part of this clear subject exam with more than 50% in exam. If you are unable to clear the exam you need to reappear in the next trim exam. College Provide various assistants from Coursera course, Newspaper to Bloomberg terminal. LBSIM also provides a Rural immersion and Outbound program to students for about 10-15 days. Students can get a lot of exposure to the outside world and rural market from this immersion. Overall college life is somewhere average because of lack in infrastructure and outside of the city. 

Digital Lab at LBSIM

The college is organizing various events in the festival but will not spend money on that event. This is the reason behind low participation in every nonacademic event in college. The course curriculum is pretty much industry related and some traditional subjects, basically a mixed balance. Most of the facilities are really experienced and have conceptual clarity of the subjects. Most Faculty try to cover case study-based approaches to engage more concepts and real-life experience. Life in LBSIM is super hectic but yet enjoyable .
