Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Prathamesh Joshi: “For WAT, they divided us into groups. Each group had around 50 candidates. they gave us 20 mins to write. There was a word limit of 300 words. The coordinators were friendly and cleared all the doubts candidates had. It was a very smooth and well-organized process. For GD each group had around 8-9 candidates. We Were given a number that represents our candidature. The total time of GD was 15 mins.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Prathamesh Joshi: "The topic for WAT was "How social media has affected our lives both privately and publicly". For GD a case was given based on an ethical dilemma faced by an employee at the workplace. We had to come up to a solution as a team.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Prathamesh Joshi: “It was a panel of 3 members. Two professors and alumni. The mode of interview was online. The panel was very friendly. they didn't put any kind of pressure on me. Gave me time to think and were promoting me to answer. It was a very good experience.”

What was the reason for you not converting to other colleges?

Prathamesh Joshi: “one thing I felt is you should have clarity about your career. B-Schools will never prefer a candidate who doesn’t have clarity about what he wants to do in his career. If asked a question about your area of interest, you must have a clear answer and explanation to prove your interest. You should never answer that you are confused now and will decide later.”
