GRE Exam Fees 2026: General Test and Subject Test Costs

You must cancel your test registration no later than four full days before your test date or your test fee will be forfeited. If you cancel your test no later than four full days before your test date, you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee. For example, the deadline to cancel a Saturday appointment and get a refund is Tuesday.

On test day, after you view your unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores, you will be prompted to designate score recipients for free. To send scores after test day or to more than four recipients, you will need to order additional score reports for a fee of USD 27 per recipient. Your official GRE scores will be available in your ETS account 10 to 15 days after your test date.
