The eligibility criteria for COMEDK UGET 2026 have been released by COMEDK on its official website.

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate engineering courses are given below:

  • Indian citizens, OCI, or PIO candidates can appear for the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam.
  • Qualifying examinations for admission to B.E./B. Tech is the second PUC or 10+2.
  • The last 2 years of study shall comprise the following as compulsory subjects:
    • Physics
    • Chemistry (or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics)
    • Mathematics
    • English
  • A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required for general merit candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • For SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka state, the minimum aggregate marks required are 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidates should also have passed all the subjects, including the optional or additional subjects, individually.
  • All the subjects should be passed from a single board.
  • Candidates who will obtain zero marks will not be assigned any rank.
  • As there is no lateral entry, diploma candidates are not eligible to take the entrance exam.
