Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 4:13 All the faculty members are approachable and friendly. Sunitha ma'am from bsc chemistry, her classes are boring but she helps us and genuinely interested in letting us reach out calibre Jose sir from bsc english,he is knowledgeable and often gives us tips to improve ourselves. His classes often turn into free career guidance lectures which is interesting. He encourages us to think out of the box and be bold. There is this staff who manages printing store .He is rude and often blames others for his mistakes. So Farr he is the only guy whom I didn't like from the college. There are a total of 8x2 exams.8 semester exams and 8 internals. The University exams are tough to crack and often needs a lot of focus.Internal exams are comparatively earlier to crack. The students who fail are the only ones who don't study nobody else fails. Its easy to pass but it's difficult to score marks. The course curriculum is strictly sticking on to the relevant informations alone. The curriculum is given by the MG University

Campus Life

Alumini meets, Union day, Christmas,Onam, Language Days, Science days, etc The library is big and they have a ton of collections. If we don't have a book the library will order it for you. There are two computer labs and one digital librariy. The cricket team and football team is well developed. The basketball team needs improvement. There are two dance clubs 'beat it' and 'empire' both of them incredible of their own The sports and dance team goes to tournament and competitions

Course Curriculum Overview

I consulted one of my brothers about this course and also did decent research on it. As this course provides future scope in three subjects - chemistry, mathematics, and physics. The faculty is really good, qualified, humble, and helpful. Exams are mediocre and difficult and with a good amount of practice, you can easily pass.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is really good. Annual fests are good and there are a lot of monthly fests going on in different societies. The library is top-class and the biggest in all over the DU campus. Sports activities aren't that good but scope if you're really passionate then you're offered good services.

Campus Life

The campus life is amazing from a student's point of view. There are so many new and eye-opening opportunities inside the campus both academic and extracurricular. The name of our cultural and union fest is TIDE which is organized by the student union during the months of Feb and March, it is a 2-day fest that includes many cultural programs, games, prizes, food stalls, and a special guest appearance which is usually a famous celebrity performance. Our college is equipped with a fully functional and well-established library with all the required study materials and other books. It is free for all students who are in the college and books are issued through our college id card. The classes are vast and have good quality furniture in them. Each class consists of blackboards and smart boards as well. The college also has well-equipped labs for all the different subjects. Our college also provides all sports equipment and playgrounds and free coaching for students inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course name is BSc. Applied Physical Sciences with Industrial Chemistry. I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the industrial chemistry field since this a very unique course with amazing career opportunities and very few colleges provide this course all over the country. My course curriculum is very vivid concentrating more on the practical applications of the course including experiments that complement each and every aspect of the theoretical part of the course. The faculty to student ratio is properly equipped with enough staff to cater and help each and every student in the college and hence no student is left unreached. The qualification of the faculty is very high level as the selection process is very good. Most of our professors and teachers are well-known in their respective fields all over the country. The examination system is highly calculated. Exams are held twice in a semester and every student is prepared well for them.
