the faculties are approachable thru the CRs as well as their personal contact. they're quite learned and good at conveying what needs to be conveyed. the faculties are very good. they focus on doubt clearing and adjust their pace of teaching acc. to the grasping capacity of the students. they give time to the topic which needs it. some of the best faculties are Mr. Akshay, Mr. Harsh Pratap and Mr. Achintya Arora all of whose names you can find on institute's website also. in first year there were total 22 subjects spread over three terms. there are mid term and end term exams in each terms. so you have exams 6 times in an year. all exams carry equal weightage. so in an year you have a total of 22 x 6 = 132 papers. you have 6-8 exams straight in a week without any preparatory leaves. you also have 2 exams in a day. in every 3rd term you have an internship which carries 3 credits. in other terms you have term projects(research papers). the grade point in a subject is cumulative of mid term score, end term score, class participation, assignments, presentations, quizes. mid term + end term collectively carry 60% weightage of the grade. rest is divided amongst other components based on the choice of course instructor. the difficulty of exams depends totally upon the faculty. however i haven't found any exam very tough so far. as far is passing rate is concerned, you cannot score more than 3 Ds or 1F+2Ds or 2 Fs in an year and your year end gpa should be not less than 4 in order to promote to next year. in my batch so far around 7-8 students have left so far as they were told to repeat due to low grade in first year. the course curriculum is very diverse and there is something for each student coming from different background. the law subjects are regulated by BCI and the management subjects are already top notch.

Campus Life

Our annual fest - Infusion is usually held around January. It is a mix of fest and competitions and usually lasts about 3-4 days. As for the library, it is the biggest building in the campus with ample study material but a little scarce on law books. But we have access to a lot of online portals and journals such as SCC, Manupatra, EBC, Cengage which caters to all our academic requirements. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors, screen, speaker, mic etc. They also have wifi and charging ports beneath the benches. We have a huge ground that serves for cricket, football and volleyball. There is a sports activity centre which has indoor badmintin courts, gym, TT, chess, carrom. There are student committees such as the academic comm, placement and internship comm, cultural comm, sports comm. Some event is organised almost every week by one or the other committee which is vital for student engagement. The PIC also helps students to get internships while the acadmic committee is the first to reach out in case of any curriculum/ discipline related issue.

Life on campus at VIPS-TC is exciting, engaging and gives many opportunities for personal and work development. Every year, Initio and Spandan, exciting technical and cultural festivals, are held by the institute in the first part of the year. Being part of the Cultural Committee (Art Department), Elysian and the IPR Club has helped me notice how students working together All classrooms on campus are set up with the latest equipment and a variety of books in the library for every subject. Available space for athletics and diverse extra activities helps maintain a good balance between learning and playing. All in all, VIPS-TC lets you enjoy a rich campus experience that really influences your future.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is balanced, ensuring students get proper attention. Faculty members are approachable and helpful, guiding students both academically and professionally. They support moot courts, client counselling, and judgment writing. Some standout faculty members are known for their clear teaching and constant support. A few may seem less engaging, but overall, teaching quality is good. There are two main exams per semester along with internal assessments. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and most students pass with regular study. The curriculum is well-structured and relevant to current legal trends. You can't fail in GGSIPU.

The faculty to student relationship is very good. Teachers are very friendly and are always ready to help the students. They help students beyond academics too if needed. The faculty to student ratio is generally 1:40. There are 2 exams per semester. One of them is mid sem and other is end sem. None of them is too difficult. They are easy to moderate to manage. The course curriculum is well made for the students to learn new things

Campus Life

There are lot of fests held in the college but since I am not a person who enjoys fest a lot so I am not aware about their names. There are various libraries in the campus around 4-5, having various categories of books. Law students are also given access of SCC online and other research tool for their personal use, which is the best thing. There are sports committee too in the campus like football, cricket etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

2015-2021 batch there were several moot competiton conducted within the college as well our college took part in several other competitions. The moot problems were mostly on constitutional problems. The students had practical court experience, though it definitely differs from real life court proceedings.

Faculty

They conduct exams semester wise. There is one practical subject in the course, such DPC (Drafting, pleading, conveyance), Moot court sessions, Arbtration, mediation, concilliation. The faculty on an average are okay. Sometimes when the temperory faculty joins, the completion of course may suffer.

The college organizes a lot of competition, fest and activities to encourage the talent of students and enhance their skills . The faculty members also gives practical exposure to the students to make them aware about the real and on site challenges . The college organizes moot cout competition, debates , court visits , jail visits , legal awareness campuses, expert talks , workshops etc to provide them knowledge and encourage their talents. However the college needs to focus on some areas like internship options and research paper publications. The frequency of exams are quite good as we have enough time to prepare for them and also the level of exam is quite moderate .

Faculty

The faculty is quite good. They are very supportive towards students . The faculty helps the students to overcome their stage fears and encourage their talents. They ensures the active participation of each and every students and never discourage the student from being forward. Faculty understands the professional as well as personal problems of students and guide them properly to reach towards a bright future . Different departments have different fests like the law and management department collectively hold the 2no fest in around February, computer science department holds Mayukh in around March then there are other fests like navotsav, adhyaay etc. Each department has it's own Library where u can find books related to ur course and can order books if needed. In the central library which is open for all the students in the campus(even for the school students) you can find thesis, journals, biographies, novels, and books for every genre. The library also has a big reading area and a wooden fairy touch to it which is my personal favourite as it makes it aesthetic. The classrooms have smart boards and mic facilities witch technicians available so to prevent any technical issue. Every sport can be learnt and is taught by professional coaches. basketball, football, badminton, kabaddi, cricket, horse riding, Archery, handball, Gym, gymnastics and what not. Dance teams presenting banasthali like black illuminators, Street dancers and freezy freaks and entertainment teams like black and white entertainment etc are present and take auditions for students every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have opted for BBA LLb, 5 year course I paid around ?250000 for 1 year which includes my tution as well as hostel fees. Scholarships are available for different categories and students can choose to register for them. my other friends in different courses have different fees like for bcom they pay around 1,50,000-200,000 which includes tution and hostel feels with seminars clubs etc included. According to me this fees is worth it as university's campus provides five fold activities in which u can take part for free for most of them. Some certificate courses require fees but it's affordable and can be deducted from your security fees.

Campus Life

Well for those who just want to come to this college to study then it's a very good place for them. I'm saying this only because this is not a very big college i mean big in terms of size it's just a multistory building in which the ground floor is an administrative floor and the rest of the 3 floors is for class and other things. So if you think that you can hide anywhere in college and bunk the classes regularly then this is not the place for you. Because the director sir is always on rounds to check what the people are doing. Talking about the cultural program there are two flagship cultural programs named "SYMFIESTA" and "APRAJITA" SYMFIESTA is a cultural fest which happens every year on a huge scale. It's a two ot three day test which usually happens in the month of march or April Whereas APRAJITA is a sports fest which is organised by our college which also occurs in the month of March or April. Talking about the technology in the classroom is a smart class where every professor uses to show their PPT on the projector and the entire class is covered with good speakers of BOSE and mikes they have high performance computers on the podium with a very decent internet speed. In my college there is an ample room for those who are into extra curricular we have moot court society in our college, debate society, research society, sports club, dance clubs, musicians, singers, street play group which is very good by the way they have won many compitition in previous few years. Basically symbiosis does encourage extra curricular activities in the college. When it comes to the library i would say it's huge you'll get everything, in fact we have digital library access. We have all the necessary subscriptions which are required for any law student for writing research papers or for any study purpose. In the Library they have very nice and comfortable seats with air conditioners with very high speed internet. They also have fee desktop for those who don't have their

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Is the very first year i paid 3 lakhs rupees amd it gets increased by 10% year on year. So for my current semster which is semester 8 i paid 3.65lakha. 2. In my case i paid 10k as a security money then i paid 1lakhs rupees upfront to book my seat which is deducted from my tution fees so im totality i paid 3.10 lakhs rupees apart from that we don't need to pay any fees such as caution fees or lab fees or development fees or etc. 3. Ee don't even need to pay examination fees as well if ee have cleared our tution fees on time and we have cleared all exams then we don't even need to pay for examination fees per se, but for backlog we do need to pay 800 rupees per couse and 800 upfront for backlog charge. So for eg if i get failed in 2 subject then i need to pay 2400 rupees while filling the form. 3. Yes we have a management quota in our college and for those who opt for it has exponentially higher fees then ours, i just know a person who gets admission with me and her fees was approx 5 lakhs per annum. 4. When i took admission till now the fees for my college has been increased significantly. As i checked last year it was somewhere around 4.25 lakhs per annum. 5. Yes my college do give us scholarship to those students who has topped the exam for eg in the batch of 300 students only 3-4 students gets the scholarship every semester. In those 3 or 4 students it would be decided on the basis of their number supposed i was ranked 1 then i don't have to pay any fees for the next semester but i was ranked 3 then based on their calculation i might need to pay 30-40% of the tution fees. 6. We don't have any other categories for fees except the management quota as for that I've already shared the details.

It has exceled in every aspect. Talking about its exam schedule, VIPS conducts one internal exam and one external exam in every semester and regular psda takes place in every class.

Faculty

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has eneough amount of faculty so that no one gets a lot of burden on their shoulders. 2 internals exams and 2 externals exams are conducted every year. The insitute also gives interactive and interesting PSDA's as assigments to their students. Each faculty member is outstanding in their work. There is no need of naming one.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for one semester is 2 lakhs so the fees for the whole year is 4 legs this includes everything tuition fees caution fees registration fees admission fees development fees last fees and other compulsory charges during the course completion. The fees for hostellers prox 3 lakh this includes hostel and mess fees. The college provide is called your ship to the students who are top 4 of the batch accordingly to their ranks. Symbiosis law School has benefit of being in the city of Noida which is near Delhi which has supreme court and many firms and corporate offices. I would say it is better than three tier nlus, As they have little to know placement. SLS Noida has about 40% placement. It was providers scholarship to the students who want to who want to study law in foreign countries for the further. The college also gives opportunities like summer school in foreign countries, moot court, legal aid council Pro Bono, debate council etc

Faculty

The faculty of the college is top notch they are very experience teachers lecturers. They are very qualified in the jobs. The faculty most like is our accounts teacher. I am a non commerce student but the way she taught us accounts from the basic level made us understood everything. The feedback of the faculties also taken after the end of each semester and they are changed if the batch is not okay with them. There is one exam in middle of a semester that is tutorial it is an open book examination of 10 to 15 marks according to the subject credit. At the end of the semester there is ends that is the final exam for a semester. The course curriculum is very relevant

According to me the campuses not get it's too small compared to other colleges as campus is immersed with PUC college there is only one campus for both law and puc mostly the campus is covered with the PU students and ground is mostly used for parking rather than playing and is on basketball court which this people don't allow us to play and there is no proper place to play football and the campus has two auditoriums the first Auditorium massive and good and the second Auditorium is still under construction and campus is still an under construction they have only have three floors in which the second for his students and only two floors for the law students Jara hardly any few clubs and the clubs are mostly oriented to studies and they have very less options in sports as well campus is okay if have no expertise they do contact events in the college but very minimal and they have good moodt court

Faculty

Teachers are pretty good but they are not as expected there teaching is understandable but the way did teach is not quite good and the core structure is structured in a way that is useful for beginners and noncommerce students everything in the first sem will be basic but only one law subject is there for the first sem called legal methods and one subject called as General English and three subjects from BBA syllabus and the exam is 100 marks and and marking scheme is based on Kslu reference each question carries 16 marks and 40 marks is considered as passing as there is only one legal subject in the first sem it's very tough in the beginning

Ques. Is Asian LAW College Noida a good choice for a five-year law degree?

● Top Answer By Anuradha Dixit on 07 Sept 21

Ans. Asian Law College Noida is not that well-known. It is a 3rd tier private law college. Asian Law College also has a hefty fee structure. You should try other colleges such as BVP and IPU instead of Asian Law College. You can even apply for Lloyd or Nirma as they are better-known law institutions than Asian Law College, Noida. Asian Law College is a well-known law college, so you should try to find a better alternative. Read more

Ques. What is the scope of BA LLB through Lucknow university?

● Top Answer By Arnav Dasgupta on 04 Oct 21

Ans. BA LLB is the study of law with few subjects of arts related to legal study. If you want to become a renowned lawyer then you have to implement your knowledge in practical situations. The faculty at Lucknow University is good but it’s best if you make a habit of learning things on your own. It’s better not to expect much from the professors.  The campus and library is huge. You can certainly use that to your advantage.  If you want good career opoortunities, start acquiring practical experience. It’s best if you can intern for a lawyear. Learn to draft, work on your English, Hindi and communication skills. If you don’t understand few things here and there you can rely on technology.  Lucknow University is a good institute for a BA LLB, but you will have to make the most of your time there.Read more

Ques. Is Allahabad University best for a BA LLB?

● Top Answer By Aditi Roy on 02 May 23

Ans. Allahabad University is a good option for pursuing BA LLB, and here are some points that can help you make an informed decision: Allahabad University has a good law faculty, which means you will be able to receive a quality education from experienced professors. The fee structure of the university is reasonable, which is an advantage for students who want to pursue higher education without the burden of heavy fees. The campus of Allahabad University is known for its peaceful and serene surroundings, which can provide a good environment for studying and learning. The law faculty of the university is quite active in student politics, so if you are interested in politics, then you may find this aspect of the university appealing. The high court is located in Allahabad, which provides an advantage for law students who are looking for internship opportunities. The university also offers internships and placement opportunities, which can help you gain practical experience and prepare for a career in law. However, it is important to note that Allahabad University may not be the best option if you are looking for the absolute best law school in India, as there are other top-ranked law schools in the country that may offer better opportunities and resources. In summary, if you are looking for a good law school with experienced faculty, a reasonable fee structure, and a peaceful environment, then Allahabad University can be a good option for pursuing BA LLB.Read more

Ques. Which is better for a BA LLB: Jamia or AMU?

● Top Answer By Bidita Ghose on 19 Apr 23

Ans. Both Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University are well-known institutions that offer BA LLB programs. Both institutions have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and the choice ultimately depends on your personal preferences and requirements. Here are some points to consider while making your decision: Campus and Location: Jamia Millia Islamia is located in Delhi while Aligarh Muslim University is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Delhi is a larger city and offers more opportunities for internships and placements, while Aligarh is a smaller town with a more relaxed pace of life. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Jamia is ranked 8th among law colleges in India, while Aligarh is ranked 9th. Ques. Is it worth spending around 12 lakhs for BALLB in Nirma University?

● Top Answer By Akansha Bajaj on 15 May 21

Ans. The answer depends on you entirely. You can give Nirma University a slip if you are getting offers from NLUs. But if you are not getting the top NLUs, Nirma University is one of the best private universities out there. Nirma University promises to give the students better placements than some of the lower-tier NLUs. Nirma University is high on discipline and most of its students dislike this about the university. What you should remember is that there is not much difference between how much you will pay if you end up studying in an NLU, and how much you will pay if you study at Nirma University in five years.  Nirma University is not as popular in the area of law as the top-tier NLUs even though it is pretty popular if we consider private institutes. If you have the skills and knowledge appropriate for placement, you will be placed at Nirma University. But getting good placements depends a lot on how much effort you put in.  If you work hard, 12 lakhs will definitely be worth it.Read more

Ques. How much marks in AILET assures you a seat(Gen) in NLU Delhi for BALLB?

● Top Answer By Ankit Agrawal on 05 Apr 23

Ans.  NLU Delhi conducts the AILET for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs, including the BA LLB program. The AILET exam is highly competitive, and the cutoff marks vary from year to year, depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the availability of seats. It is difficult to predict a specific score that would guarantee admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, as the cutoff marks may vary from year to year. However, based on past trends and previous year's cutoffs, a general idea of the cutoff marks can be obtained. Here are the cutoff marks for AILET for the past three years for General Category AILET 2021: 72 marks out of 150 marks AILET 2020: 86 marks out of 150 marks  AILET 2019: 72 marks out of 150 marks It's important to note that these are just the cutoff marks and meeting them does not guarantee a seat in NLU Delhi. Admission is also based on other factors like the availability of seats, reservation policy, and performance in the interview round (if applicable). So, while no fixed score guarantees admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, aiming to score around 80-90 marks or above out of 150 marks in AILET exam would significantly increase your chances of getting a seat. However, it is always advisable to aim for the highest possible score and perform well in the interview round to maximize your chances of getting admission into NLU Delhi.Read more
