Likes
- Faculty members are weel-educated here. They have keen interest in educating children. Their good communication skills helps nourishing students and let them pass with flying colours.
- The ratio of girls to boys is 55:45. Both girls and boys in this college comes from good families and have a believe that they have to work hard to achieve their goals.
- VIPS have a good infrastructure consisting of 3 buildings and a big canteen in between. Students can also relax as the campus have 2 big grounds with full of flowers.
Dislikes
- The thing I disliked is that the lecture hours are too long sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since 12th, I was interested in doing law. I searched a lot for good colleges, and after that, I landed up at VIPS. Thorough research made me realise that VIPS is the only college I was finding. It has exceled in every aspect. Talking about its exam schedule, VIPS conducts one internal exam and one external exam in every semester and regular psda takes place in every class.
Internships Opportunities
Students start getting internship opportunities from their 3rd year through the college placement cell. Many students try to grasp this opportunity. Various firms give stipend as well and it typically depend upon firm to firm if we talk about the amount which is given to a student during the internship period.
Placement Experience
We have a separate placement cell made for the convenience of the students. People from various tier firms come for the training as well for the interviews in VIPS. VIPS has a highest package of 20,00,000/-. My plan after getting my degree is to go to a certain corporate firm and I wil try my best to get it from my placement cell only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees of Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies for BBA-LLB is 1,21,400/-. University Charges: 20,000/- Tuition Fees: 1,01,400/- People belonging to other categories such as OBC,SC or ST can pay the fees in installments. Vivekananda Institute Of Profession Studies offers various kinds of scholarships to other backward classes.
Campus Life
VIPS is famous for it's fests and events. It conducts a very famous annual fest which is known is INITIO. Last year Parmish Verma was called for a concert night at INITIO. VIPS is never behind when it comes to fests. We have fests and events at regular intervals. Our college makes sure to celebrate every festival with love and laughter.
Admission
So, I made a very easy path for me. I chose to be rational while applying to colleges. I took every single aspect into consideration before applying anywhere, hence I applied to NLU's and 2-3 more colleges other than VIPS. Deep down I only wanted VIPS as my college. The level of activeness VIPS shows in every activity, event or opportunity is commendable.
Faculty
Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has eneough amount of faculty so that no one gets a lot of burden on their shoulders. 2 internals exams and 2 externals exams are conducted every year. The insitute also gives interactive and interesting PSDA's as assigments to their students. Each faculty member is outstanding in their work. There is no need of naming one.
Night Life
Currently VIPS does not provide any hostel facilities due to which there is not much of a nigh life there, but yes VIPS has a good cafeteria with lot's of varieties. Recently I had waffles which tastes heaven there. Every building has their own library with full of books and study resources.
