The college's placement cell has been working towards bringing in more placement oppurtunites for the students. They also organize an annual intership and career fair called "Incrementum". Last year, a number of students were placed in several esteemed companies like Accenture, Deloitte, digiversal, and HYPD. They also organize several workshops and seminars that help the students to build their CV's or to make them aware of the career oppurtunities in each field.

The top recruiting companies were paytm, bajaj, vipro, phonepay, justdial and mahindra and the best roles offered are in the field of finance and data handelling,research work and finance manager. The highest salary package usually offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 to 4.5 LPA. Students from BCOM honors get most of the good salary offers.

For recruitment opportunities, students become eligible in the third year. However, for internships all the students from all the years are eligible for it. Reputed companies like EY, Goldman Sachs etc. have visited and the placement salary is very high. The highest package is usually 10 lac+ and the average also is 5 lac+. A large number of students get placement and most start working immediately after graduation.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

Students are eligible from the very first semester for internships but for campus placements fifth or sixth semester is considered the best. The maximum package is 5 lacs and the minimum is around it only. After the degree, I may be applying for masters.

A lot of my friends had applied for placement, I hadn't so I don't know much about it. However, after completing your degree in English. You can apply for jobs in any publication house as a fresher and then work your way up.

I chose this course as I was interested in political science since school. The faculty of our department is one of the best in the college. They are rightly qualified and well-behaved. The teaching method, if not interrupted by the pandemic, is absolutely flawless. Daulat Ram College is very serious about exams though. They are taken at regular intervals, despite everything though they are not so difficult to pass.

From the 2nd year, you can start applying for campus placements. Almost 50 companies visited the placement fair last year. I want to pursue my career as a Hindi teacher.
