- Mostly teachers are professor there and doctors they are really supportive i still remember dr taneja sir how friendly he's with students and the way he taught us was amazing teaching things with practical examples is amazing
- The crowd of dav college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- You can also join for ncc and nss. and it can be beneficial during post graduate admissions.
Dislikes
- No placement no internship no guidance was provided by teachers
- In brutal summer there is need for air conditioners.
- Classrooms are too suffocating and it becomes worse in summers

- Social Interaction and not extra stress given to student for their academics.
- Sports and cultural event happen almost every week
- You'll find each and every type of master in college , like sports , academics , NCC ,NSS . Also they have very huge cricket ground , hand ball ground , baskteball court , volleyball court, sports complex (badminton courts , shooting range)
Dislikes
- not proper care of infrastructure especially the sports infrastructure .
Course Curriculum Overview:
1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

- I liked the classrooms are very clean and comfortable for class
- I liked the campus of college is decorated with flower pots and different paintings
- I liked the auditorium of the college which is so big

- I didn’t liked the washroom of college they aren’t clean
- I don’t like the entrance of college main gate
- Unnecessory activities like dancing and all that are conducted by college on regular basis
Placement Experience:
DAV College does not offer strong campus placements for pure science courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, The college has an active placement cell. In the science field, placements are rare unless you're in job-oriented programs

- i like how there is not much charge for attendence
- friends i made, i like them greatful for them
- they have added a pad machine( sometimes doesn't work)

- faculties, they are so irresponsible everytime
- the whole college or even university couldn't care less
- doens't even have proper water management

they always postpone the exams , but the they never postpone the breaks , also we have continued classes from 10-4 sometimes 9-5 , in which we are not allowed any break, we have talked about this issue, no return

- And second one is our canteen the food is so highenic and clean area
- Third one is teachers are so supportive and so kind to us

- I think there is nothing that i can hate about my college

There are so many labs experience so many things to learn in every day life and they organised well curriculum for diffrent courses that we dont even feel bored
And teachers are so active and kind so we dont hessitate to ask anything

- Infrastructure is absolutely great . Classes and labs are nice.
- The environmemt, the students provide a great exposure
- Extra curricular activities are at peak and very very nice managed
Dislikes
- Sometimes the teacher is not able to attend every single student but thats fine 80-90 students are not less
Placement Experience:
Placements are offered, companies having startups do
Come here, infosys etc come here for placements, but if someone wants to further study after this course, people can opt for MCA , MBA , Msc ( maths/ phy/IT/CS) .

- I like the college teachers and our new Principal, he is quite soft and generous.
- I really like about our college environment
- Our college teachers don't give tension to the students
Dislikes
- Our college canteen foods price are high
- Our college infrastructure is not quite good
- I found some teacher somewhat rude to students
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the teacher try really hard to make sure the students get the point. So they are very good. And many of them try harader and harder so that they students become toppers. I think only their teching style is like revission.

- Ambience of the college is really good with greenry
- Juice corner is best with good price and quality
- Lab facilities is the best with high end equipments
Dislikes
- Canteen is over priced with poor cleanliness
- Hostel mess is really bad with low quality food
- Cleanliness is really bad in hostels particularly in washroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student.
Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too.
Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated.
Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.

- In the case of sports our college is no.1 for the reason basketball, cricket,
- And in ncc army , ncc navy, ncc air , and NSS this type of work

- some classes are not repaired and I complaint also but they never change

Cricket is played. Most of the Olympic medalists are from our college. The best fashion group in chandigarh is from our college. The dance groups. And the best part of this college is their elections. Worth watching the elections.

- College is very good for students who wish to do something side by side of college as attendance policies are not very stringent.
- Clubs opportunities available are quite good for building personality and communication skills. Also you get to make the best memories during club activities and the most beautiful friendships
- Students in the college are mostly from punjab, himachal and haryana so you get to see the culture of three states and also himachal is very near so trips are frequently planned to mountains.
Dislikes
- If you can't do self study, then this college is not for you. Because teachers are not very helpful.
- If you are a shy person, you will always feel sidelined
- Teachers suddenly cancel classes without prior information which is very difficult who have to travel to come to college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course as i wanted to prepare for an exam while my graduation so that i could have enough time. One can become a teacher or a professor after the course. I don't feel any improvements needed as student themselves are more interested to bunk classes and then prepare in the exams itself. End semester exams happen twice an year which are not very difficult to pass in.

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
