Candidates applying for BDS course should have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Botany and Zoology taken together at the HSC. For SC/ST candidates 10% relaxation is provided in eligibility criteria.
Selection to the BDS course is through NEET UG entrance exam. Merit list will be declared by Selection Committee of Tamil Nadu Government. NEET-UG will be conducted by CBSE for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. The NEET-UG will be conducted on May 7.
Admission to two diploma courses is based on merit of Class X.

Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital offers MDS course in eight disciplines, candidates applying to these courses should have done BDS from a recognized university and should have done one-year compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI).
Selection to the course is based on NEET PG entrance exam. 50% of the total seats are reserved under all India Quota; rest seats are available under state quota. However, admission to seats under both quotas is through NEET PG only.

I got this college through counseling..this college has good patients flow and fees is affordable .. admission process is by qualifying through NEET Then counseling will be conducted where we can select college according to mark
Based on eligible cut off marks for admission.upto 2016 and community wise reservation seats are full filled From 2017 onwards.Now based on neet marks eligibility for admission in the college You have to submit certificates related to the college admission procedures.
The admission is through single window system counselling based on the higher secondary marks in the physics chemistry and biology. The counselling was held in directorate of health education in kilpauk chennai. The call letter will be sent before the counselling.
The best part is we had good Campus with all facilities. The faculty members really helped us to overcome future fears. And also they helped us to take correct decisions. We had all enjoy I our college and also got plenty of patient exposure and knowledge. The bad part is still our college has no inpatient wards.
