Tagore Dental College was started in 2007 by Tagore Educational Trust under the guidance, the leadership of Prof J Mala with just 100 students. Tagore Dental College is situated in Saidapet, Tamil Nadu on a 35.5-acre campus which has a 700 bedded Tagore Medical College and Hospital. The Dental and Medical Hospitals are fully furnished with the latest equipment. The college has Canteen, Gymnasium, sports facilities, recreational facilities, staff quarters, and also a temple for worship. Most of the treatments done at the Dental College are free or at very minimal charges. The College offers BDS and MDS courses. Three batches of students have completed their internship. As far as Dental College selection is considered it is done through a counselling process where you will get the colleges that are available for your rank and your category and your mark , I chose this college because it has Medical College attached to it and while we have medical subjects till 3rd year so we can get more exposure of patients from the medical ward as well so that is the reason why I choose and to get into this college you must clear neet with good score

- The college host many events and gitanjali is the cultural event conducted every year

- The hostel facility is like food is ok typical southern Indian food but the hostel does not have ac even after getting 165000

The eligibility for the course is through Neet ug You find it from the TN Medical selection offical website The reservation is the state reservation of 18% The frequency of the exam is like yearly once and I will say it's very difficult Maybe the fee should be paid to the government not to the college become the government-prescribed fee is 2.5 but in the name of instruments it they charge both including 4laksh where the instrument worth is only 15k

Admission:
The admission process was based on counselling conducted. counseling was based on the neet score. We should choose colleges as per our wish in order and apply it with our neet mark. Counseling happened in four rounds and you'll get your seat as per your mark in any one of the round. Eligibility criteria is pass mark in neet entrance exam. all the application details will be in the college itself, visit the college in person and submit all the essential documents and pay admission fee. there was no inconvenience in the admission process, everything went smooth.

- They provide a Batch name for freshers of the college

- Sports and culture days they are providing adequate time and they are less interested in sports

The admission process is through Direct mode at the college, to opt for the Bachelor of dental surgery course the eligibility is to finish the 12 standards with any board of Bio maths group or pure Science group, for admission details you can call directly the college office admin via Google search.

Candidates who have taken Biology as their major subject are eligible. They must have passed the percentile in the NEET examination after 12th standard completion. They can apply through NEET counseling and the cut-off depends upon the past percentile which keeps changing every year. Application forms are made available at https://mcc.nic.in.

Well course was going good.I have just completed my first year and first year contains general medical syallabus and one dental paper.I really like Oral Histology staffs and their way of teaching.First year contains more number of practical session like Anatomical dessection,Biochemistry experiments,physiology labs,OH works and prosthodontics works.

So far the course structure has been really useful and really great. I cannot thank the college enough for designing such a beautifully structured course which has helped students learn a lot more than just the limitation of bookish knowledge.
