Internships Opportunities

My collge providing internship for period if 12 months each month rupees 28000 wil be given per month from government itself there will be lot of patients flow in my collge it gives good exposure among local natives

My college fees is rupees 15000 per year, admission fees will be around 30000,scholarship will be given rupees 10000 per year for every single year there is rupees 1000 admission fees,lab fees includes rupes 2000

They is college cultural event occurs in every year all 5 years batches will nbe participating they is inter college sports event named as sporto gdc will be held yearly once there is alos intra collge sports meet

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is situatiuted in egmore its nearby to government egmore museum in hostel there is playground there is cleaned bathroom and each student provided with individually cot study table with fan and cupboard

Admission

I have not applied for any other collgees because its it number one government college in tamil nadu its a well known nd prestigious institute in india its a best to collge to pursue dentistry and alumins of this college are well known doctors

Faculty

Staffs are so kind and polite and they treat me with respect they teach me with all basic skills of dentistry and they help us well in academics also they are well experienced staffs and controlled environmental conditions

Night Life

Mount road is nearby to my collge there are lot of restaurants like famous bhuhari hotel,and marina beach is alos nearby 2kmz away from my colloge then parrys corner shopping area is alos nearby within 1 km

A little sneak peek into my life in college: Trying my best to survive

Course Curriculum Overview:

.I honestly am not very interested in the course and still trying to adapt to it .The course would either lead you to the path of MDS in several departments and thereafter a Phd or simply a BDS degree would also make you a dentist. . The course needs more simplification and easy to understand books, easy to understand lectures and easy to follow practical work to get a knack of it. . Internal assessments are held almost once in every 2.5 to 3 months and a year end university examination that includes theory and practical exam that requires students to pass in order to be promoted to the next year. . Anatomy, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Pharmacology are the hardest. Physiology, Microbiology and Oral pathology and Histology are the easiest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

My Honest Review of College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum in the first year is quite good and gives a strong base . Subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are detailed and help us understand the basics needed for later years . Curriculum helps us to improve skills through labs and dissection . Exams happens regularly- we have internal assessments every months , class tests, slip tests, practicals and university exam. The frequency is fine , but the difficulty depends on the preparation . The one year compulsory internship with stipend is also very helpful in moulding us as a great dentist . Overall , the curriculum does a great job in laying down the foundation . Because of the high patient flow our hand skills will also become improve. So it helps in professional growth .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As l am studying in normal matriculation school .there teaching was comparable worst with other school. then my dad and mom told me. You must prepare NEET and become a doctor that is proud of us .so I dropped my two years of college studies went to the institute, and I got 593 marks in 2024 neet exam but how was my fate look like there is so much scam in that exam lot of students lost dream then l decide BDS is lost hope and come here successfully

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month

I chose this college mainly because of its academic reputation and rankings . When comparing with the other colleges , this college offer a better clinical exposure opportunities. As dentistry is about skills , the more we practice the more experts we become and more skilled doctors we become . Also As A kerala native , Tamilnadu is our neighbouring state and also it is more secured state. My first priority was kerala but because of high competition and low number of seats I couldn't make it there . So my next option were this college and i got into here .
