- Teaching, the staffs are well educated and teach very well.
- Practice, by continuous practice you’ll get a practice on clinicals to work on patient
- Extra curricular activities, provides frequent competitions like sports, arts, dance and singing supporting the students
Dislikes
- Infrastructure, the college lacks in having a proper seminar rooms, restrooms
- Transport facility, there are only 10 buses for the whole medical and dental college
- Lack of lab materials, sometimes there is not enough or proper materials in the lab to work
Course Curriculum Overview
Dentistry is about art, art about moulding cast, taking impressions, filling cavity. It's actually a fun course. You will learn it during the practical classes with the help of faculties. They will conduct 3 terminals and 1 model exam before the university exam to train you.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 200000 and fees for instruments and books is 100000 and transport fees is 90000 I didn't choose transport so my fees is 300000 and fees for my friends is 400000 all these are for government quota if u join by management quota the fees ranges from 500000 to 700000.Talking about scholarships for bc its 4000.
Campus Life
The college provides all type of extracurricular activities, sports, festives. There are carrom, chess, painting, mehendi, rangoli, dancing, singing, face painting, carving and many more competitions held every year, likely in the month of October to November. There are also many clubs organised such as rotary club, reading club etc.
Admission
I wrote my neet exam and applied for government quota. The first college I selected was tagore because I heard its a well known and good college and next I selected madha college. So comparing tagore with other colleges it is better in coaching and practice.
Faculty
The faculty here is overall good, one or two of the faculties are not good they keep grudges against a specific student keep calling them and scolding them but also other faculties are good they help you individually if you have doubts in a nicest way and the exam system is you have 3 paper every year and last year you should have to write 8 papers.They will train you enough to write these exams so no worries.
Night Life
It has a canteen for both medical and dental college that offers both veg and non veg. The college has separate hostel for students and staffs within the campus.The students must submit outpass if they leave the hostel and return before 8pm. Its not safe to roam at night as it is located near forest area.
