Genuine Review

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

The fifth year is an internship year. We'll be posted in different departments. We'll be interacting with various patients. We'll learn the hand skills to solve any case by the exposure of these patients.

You'll have to pay 16030 every year. The course is 5 years including one year internship. For students who have completed their entire primary and secondary education from government schools, the course is free of cost.

There are various extra curricular activities in the college. They encourage us towards sports and photography. We, as students, organise 4 important events in the college among which Denti-fest is the grandest.

The hostel is the worst. It's not upto the mark. It's very badly maintained. The food is also not good and definitely not hygienic. So I advise all the parents to put your wards in a pg. The hostel has no timings. So safety of your child is not guaranteed.

Since, it's a government college. I got this by luck. I definitely wanted a better college than this. But I got this through counselling. In the beginning, I didn't like the college much. But as time passed, I started to like this college and the staff and students here.

The staff to student ratio is very good. The staffs are friendly. But the staffs from physiology department are not as friendly and love to taunt bds students. My favourite teacher is Murali Naidu sir. He teaches us carving of teeth. He is an expert.

It's pretty decent. The place has all the basic amenities. There is a gym, vast ground, libraries, walking tracks, etc . The safety is a concern to some extent at night. Otherwise during the day time, it's safe and there's a lot of public.
