Patient flow is very very high in this college this is one only government college in tamilnadu it has great experience in this field ..exams are held yearly once and there are four years in this college

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

My college provides intership for 12 months and government will give Stifund of rupees 28000 per month directly into students account they will provide free dental camps around Chennai during internship period

Fees and Financial Aid

My year wise fees is 15000 rupees for first year 10000 for second year, third year 8000, final year 6000, my scholarship amount is rupees 15000 per year annualy and it will be given every single year also

Campus Life

My college has Ncc nd Proper ground for practics there is inter clg spots meet called sporto GDC which is held yearly and given prizes and mendals there is also inter college cultural events to both off stage and on stage event are held.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are well maintened and good enough each student is provided with cupboard and study table and individual chair and there is mess hall with proper hygiene and good food menu is both veg and non veg

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

I havnot applied to any other college because this is only government institute free of cost and number uno College of this state ..I scored enough marks on neet so I got merit seat in this college and I'm glad

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 10:100 all our staffs are approaching they are genuinely good in teaching you can ask any doubts in regrading dentistry faculties are vastly experienced and they are easy to communicate

Night Life

My hostel has gym facilities four sharing room nd location is situated in Egmore so Egmore museum is nearby place to visit and Marina beach is just 2kms away so that u can walk in tha morning for beach

My Honest Review of College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum in the first year is quite good and gives a strong base . Subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are detailed and help us understand the basics needed for later years . Curriculum helps us to improve skills through labs and dissection . Exams happens regularly- we have internal assessments every months , class tests, slip tests, practicals and university exam. The frequency is fine , but the difficulty depends on the preparation . The one year compulsory internship with stipend is also very helpful in moulding us as a great dentist . Overall , the curriculum does a great job in laying down the foundation . Because of the high patient flow our hand skills will also become improve. So it helps in professional growth .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I specifically wanted to be a dentist as there were no dentists in my family. The curriculum does educate you on patient communication, ability to handle patients well and critical thinking skills such as bls training and high tense situations. There can be more hands on training and patient prorograms and camps. Exams are held once in every year and difficulty is mild to moderate.

As a first year BA student, I have found the course curriculum is both very good and neither not good so it covers a wide range of topics from the basic science like anatomy and biochemistry. in many ways it feels like very hard in the when studying the dentistry and I am bit confused for taking this course, because I very it's very hard to cope up with.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my college the faculty are superb they teaching skill are good and student ratio are bit high in my college all my faculty are MD graduate. My final exam was once in a year and it was moderate to pass if we study regularly it was very easy to get pass marks.

I chose this college mainly because of its academic reputation and rankings . When comparing with the other colleges , this college offer a better clinical exposure opportunities. As dentistry is about skills , the more we practice the more experts we become and more skilled doctors we become . Also As A kerala native , Tamilnadu is our neighbouring state and also it is more secured state. My first priority was kerala but because of high competition and low number of seats I couldn't make it there . So my next option were this college and i got into here .
