I liked the high experience of teachers as they have been teaching in this college for more than 10 years and their knowledge about their respective technological subjects.
You are eligible for any scholarships or can avail the benefit of reservation, then your fees will reduce.
They conduct various activities like nss , ncc , and various programs like astivsta and provide the hall like pittie hall which is main attraction of bmcc.

Dislikes

The worst part of hostel is it's timing and restrictions. Timing for hostel is 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (yup that's it.you can't enter into hostel after 8 p.m.) even if there is emergency you have to be present in room for attendance. Hostel Mess is comp
Now if you are a sportsperson or a person who's into debates / MUNing / dance / music / theatre or any other activity and planning to continue it then this college is a strict no no. Think 100 times as the attendance policy is getting stringent day b

Understanding of BMCC

Likes

my college organizes different events so it helps to find talent
the college also have expert faculty so they help us in problem solving
our college promote girls empowerment by organizing different events

Dislikes

timing of college which is 7.30 to 11 so it is very early in morning
some teachers act very rudely while submitting late assignment

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum of our college is very related with real time and also teachers give real life examples while teaching.the teachers beleive in pratical knowledge rather than theoritical understanding.exams are somewhat difficult.there are certain theory in our curriculum which is outdated so it should be deleted

BMCC and it's perks.

Likes

The atmosphere and campus is the most important feature of the college.
Up to date technology and Facilities such as library digital resource lab

Dislikes

Canteen can be improved and canteen are can be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my degree is or Bcom the course context is true to its teaching.All the subjects tought are required for the current market. For example accounts, Law , Economic, Business management, etc. Lectures are perfectly on time.

Knowing BMCC as a businessmans perspective

Likes

The quality of infrastructure is very good and outstanding because the college is old but the things and memories are always new.
I liked the spirit of old students who passed out from bmcc who come to the ground every morning for their workout and colleger never stopped them to do that
I liked the discipline of college because ragging is strictly prohibited and id cards are checked strictly

Dislikes

Events and functions are focused more that studies.
Attendance is not mandatory so many people comes only imwhile assignment submission
Hostel fees is very high compare to college feess

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good of bmcc , like this years only bny , tresvista, eaton , and more good companies came and took 10 students average each company. Also they provided good ctc and package. Students are eligible from 5th semester to take part in placement. 40 percent of students get placement everyyear. My plan after getting the degress is to focus on my business and will to expand it

I liked the infrastructure of the college
I liked the teachers who are very friendly with the students
I liked the placement cell of the college

Dislikes

I disliked the compulsory attendance scheme
I disliked the number of assignments they give

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in placements from 5th semester. There are many companies which visited the college last year including TCS, Wipro, Tech mahindra, and many more. The average package for last year was 3.75 lpa. And the highest according to me was 6lpa. As many as 70% students get placed. My plans after graduation are either to do Chartered accountant or do an MBA

The BMCC experience:Academic,Growth and Beyond

Likes

First of all it’s a government granted college .
The teaching staff is excellent, experienced.
The campus is eco friendly which makes you feel better in campus .

Dislikes

There are no night events compared to other colleges .
It’s too strict and various rules and restrictions.
A lot of assignments are there which you have to complete.

Placement Experience:

The placement are given after the 5th semester. Various MNC'S provide placement . Companies like TCS , Dellote , Infosys , etc give placements .The highest packages is of 10L . And the average package is of 6L . So mostly it depends on student do they want placement or they want to study . So my plans after the graduation is to get masters in business administration.

Campus - college campus is awesome! Lush green, huge, stone walls, awesome structure, can never enough of it
Peers- Being the best commerce college in Pune, it attracts some of the sharpest minds making your peer group exciting. You will find all

Limited Campus placements, also as the college has its name so the interviewers have high expectations from the students.

Everything about bmcc!

Likes

The college campus is very good and surrounded by the old buildings and trees!
The coo-circular activites college provides is very helpful for students
The reputation of the college and the placement record is very good

Dislikes

The management staff is very arrogent which I need to be change
The college security guards are too very arrogent and need to change their nature
The teachers are experienced but not so good their some teachings are non understandable

Placement Experience:

The placement record of the college is very good,the average salary for the bcom is 400000-500000 and the highest salary last year was 1200000 the companies visited last year was Zomato,Citi bank, reliance and etc. my plan is to pursuit my PG in MBA by giving entrence exams.

All about Bmcc, pune!

The crowd of college is good their are more students from outside pune, they are helpful students from various places are there..
The most positive aspect about the college is the old building and they have maintained their prestige since very long, all the construction is old eg, building, trees, offices..
The college also provide plenty of placement in bcom, the avg salary you can expect is upto 200000-500000 per annum and highest salary last year was 1200000 per annum

Dislikes

The management or the teachers, actually the staff did not care about student's, they just want assigment and practicals on time, if there is an emergency they didn't adjust...
Another thing is the college time, for bcom student's the college time is 7:30 to 10:30 am which is too early students coming outside the city area feel Lot's of challenges during traveling..
And the last thing i didn't like about my college is irregularity in sending notices to students, they didn't send proper notices to students, they send it an immediate situation which makes problems in decision making.

Placement Experience:

The college provide a good placement for bcom students and as well as to mcom students too, after completions of bcom they get eligible to get the job, there are plenty of companies which offer on campus placements which include zomato, delloite, deltax, eaton, relaince retail and etc., avg salary is 200000-500000 and highest was 1200000 PA.

The faculty for ACCA last year was not good. But this year there has been a lot of improvement. The faculty from this year onward is great. The teachers are very supportive and are really good at teaching.
The college ambience is really good. The classrooms are spacious and provide a good environment. The computers in labs are also of good quality.
The events that take place is college are very well planned. There is a placement cell which provides internships to students. There are various clubs that students can join according to their interests.

Dislikes

The faculty for international finance keeps changing. The faculty is not always good. Last year the faculty was not good. However, this year the faculty has improved a little bit. Complaining to the head about the faculty makes no difference.
There is mo network in college due to network barriers. We have been provided with college wifi but it has a very weak signal. The canteen is of poor quality and not very clean. There is no place to sit in the canteen it is very small to accommodate
a huge population. The break time is also of only 15 mins which is not sufficient.

Placement Experience:

I have not been placed yet as i am still in second year. However, there is a placement cell. This cell provides internship to students. In third year various companies come for interviews. They offer decent packages.

Journey - to home to real world

BMCC is top college for commerce students in Maharashtra.They literally give students practical approach towards life, job and business.
BMCC have huge ground for sports like cricket,football and basketball court. This thing I liked so much because I don't enjoy outdoor sports.
Another thing that thev have best that they conduct various events in clg. Astitva is one of that event. In this event every student from different different colleges across Pune can participate. So you meet other peoples also

Dislikes

It is strict college. If your are someone who are doing external courses like CA,CS,CMA or any other still you have to submit all assignments they don't give any type of concession regarding your external courses of job.
You have to do extra credit course compulsory for getting a degree. It is good for regular student who are not doing any type of external activity or job. But not good for those who are doing this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are doing other courses like CA, CS, CMA then you can choose B com course.Bcom is easy course you can do side by side relating to your other course. B Com gives you practical knowledge about our finance system in india. If you're not doing any type of external courses or activities then I suggest to not go with Bcom course cause it's basic course about our finance system in india. It only pays you 3-5 lakhs per annum which is low comparing to other courses
