Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC) offers admission to UG and PG programs across various specializations. Admissions are done based on marks obtained in the entrance examination. The application forms can be filled out offline, and the application fee should be paid through a Demand Draft.

BMCC Pune UG Admissions 2025

BMCC offers 2 undergraduate-level degree programs. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the BBA and B.Com programs are a pass in 10+2 with streams such as Accounts, Mathematics, and Economics & science stream with a minimum of 50 percent. Selection to these programs is done based on marks obtained by the final examination.

BMCC Pune PG Admission 2025

BMCC offers four postgraduate-level degree programs. Candidates are required to score at least 50% marks in the last qualifying exam. Selection to these programs is done based on marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the university/ institute.

BMCC Pune Doctoral Programme Admission 2025

The institute offers admission to the Ph.D. and M.Phil courses focusing on Commerce. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute and a Personal Interview.

Students with a post-graduation degree can apply for admission to the doctoral courses offered by the institute.

BMCC Pune Application Process 2025

Candidates applying for any of the courses offered by Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce are required to apply through the offline mode of application only. The process of application is as follows:

Candidates can request a copy of the application form by post or collect it in person from the institute’s admission cell after paying the prescribed application fee.
All requisite details as asked in the application form are to be furnished correctly.
The complete application form, along with photocopies of required educational documents and other relevant forms, must be sent to the institute, committed to reach before the last date.
Candidates who have received the application form by post must send a DD for the prescribed application fee along with the completed application form.
Shortlisted candidates must appear at the counseling venue for the final stage of admission.
The candidate will be required to produce his/her original documents during counseling for verification purposes. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of candidature.

Ans. There is a range of courses offered by BMCC Pune. In the undergraduate/UG section, there are B.Com, BBA, and BBM courses. As for their PG courses, there are M.Com, PGDM, PGDBF, and PGDIB. There is also a PG Diploma course. Simultaneously, there are also options available for PhD and research courses.

Ques. What is the eligibility criteria for admission to UG courses in BMCC Pune?

Ans. The applicant must score 50% or above marks in their 10+2 examination or equivalent for admission at BMCC Pune. After which, the applicant must sit through an entrance test if they don’t get selected via the merit list. There is a 5% mark relaxation for the reserved category students.

Ans. BMCC is a better option for the B.Com course. The students get better teachers and library access. The department conducts regular workshops to guide and update the students about the market recruitment of skills.

Ques. What provisions are considered in BMCC regarding attendance?

Ans. The provision for all courses is the same, which is that the students need to maintain 75% attendance in each semester. However, the college also gives concessions to students who pursue courses like CA.

Ques. What is the process of admission for the undergraduate courses in the college?

Ans. Once the admission notice is announced, the applicants can fill up the forms and submit through online with the application fees. Based on the applicants’ marks, the institute prepares the merit list according to the merit of the 10+2 examination.

A life in BMCC college

Admission:

So the for the Pune location according to me to do BBA-IB course this BMCC college is excellent compared to othere colleges. Yeah before getting into the BMCC college I did applied to other college like Modern, Ness Wadia , MIT , Garware, Symbiosis. I did received the call from those colleges for the admission but in the end after looking at all the aspect also the fees and the ROI and location I decided to go ahead with the BMCC college during my tenure the admission in BMCC college was provided through the 12th std marksheet. Right now in recent years the admission process in college is through the Maharashtra cet exam also they do conduct there own college exam. Yeah and the cut of is quite high for the BMCC college it is above 90% through entrance exams.

Our college started very late compare to others because of the cet cell

I am not for Maharashtra so my main motive was to take a good reputed college in Mumbai like jai hind, mithibai, NM but there cutoff was too high and cet cell reduce seats for outsider students like there was only 3 seats for jai hind so it was not possible for me to take my top three colleges in Mumbai other than these three it was not worth it for me to go to Mumbai as it's pretty far from where I live. So than I researched colleges in pune and BMCC was the college that came at the top than I researched about it and I liked it overall so at the end I took admission in it.

Knowing BMCC as a businessmans perspective

Admission:

I choose brihan Maharashtra college of Commerce because of the well reputation and good experience of my father . Bmcc known as 1 of the best college of commerce in pune and also provide good placement to students . I didn't get rejected from a ny college i fill my 1st form in bmcc and i got selected in bmcc. Admission process is like we have to give entrance exam of 60 percent and remaing 40 percent is our 10th and 12th marks.

I have applied to 2 colleges and was accepted in both the colleges for same course. But as this college was near me and in my budget so I choose this college over the other. The admission process is simple you just have to score above 75% in your 12th board exam.

Admission:

First of all it was my dream college and the only college I was looking for so I did not applied for others but on the basis of marks I was selected in Indira College of Commerce and Management . But that college was a private college and the college in which I have taken admission is a government college and also the course I have choose was only in this government college it was available in other colleges too but they were the private entities. The admission process of this college is a bit easy you have to give a separate exam of this college and the merit list is announced and the admission are done . No donations are required for admission in this college as this is a govt college .

Main purpose of choosing this college was the atmosphere around the college which is clean and good which really attracts the campus is clean the faculyy is good and everything is in a good order. I also got calls from many college for admission like Indira college of management and MIT but there fees are too high and also don't offer a lot of things I got regected from IIM's because i didn't make of the cut off's of there exams Admission process was easy. Admission was taken on the bases of the score in MAH-CET, the eligibility was 10+2 with 50% the most prefferred cource by student was BBA-IB as it's cut-off was the highest
