Understanding of BMCC

Likes

my college organizes different events so it helps to find talent
the college also have expert faculty so they help us in problem solving
our college promote girls empowerment by organizing different events

Dislikes

timing of college which is 7.30 to 11 so it is very early in morning
some teachers act very rudely while submitting late assignment

Internships Opportunities:

college offers internship in different firms such as KPMG, PWC, Dellote etc.the stipend was very low but learning opportunity is very high.we get to knoe different things in Accounts, Auditing and Taxation.

A life in BMCC college

Likes

BMCC college is quite good in terms of infrastructure it has big campus in the middle of the Pune City.
College faculty is good in terms of education. Also staff is quite friendly They focus on students overall personality development for that there is always group discussion/ presentation activities are conducted.
During the campus life I did participated in lots of events in BMCC college. I was the also the part of the organising committee for the one of the college famous event named as Troika. It's a really a great event in Pune.

Dislikes

College has big campus but still it need to maintained in terms of infrastructure as there are old building need to be replaced looking at the current scenario
In terms of event college need to give a good budget atleast increase the budget so that students can enjoy and attract more students to the college. There should be minimum restrictions
Placements is okay it still needs to be improved. They should get more good companies on board with good job roles.

Internships Opportunities:

In BMCC college there are the internship opportunities provided some are paid internship while the others are free they are just for the sake of the experience. Small start up companies do come in college for the internship opportunities for the students.

BMCC Pune: A Gateway to Promising Careers with Strong Placements & Internships

The campus is from the British era it gives a vintage vibe. The college have a pretty good campus and a large ground for sports and other things.
The faculty is very friendly and it's easy to connect with your teacher, it makes the subject easy to understand
My course is a two year course in the college and for the last year we'll be having our apprenticeship

Dislikes

Our college started very late compare to others because of the cet cell
For an outsider it can be challenging in the beginning because of the language barrier
Hostel is not up to mark and there are limited beds

Internships Opportunities:

FundsRoom: Offered internships for positions such as Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, and Marketing Analyst. The duration of these internships ranged from 1 to 2 months, with a work-from-home arrangement. SalesLead Consultants: Provided internships focusing on lead generation and business development strategies. The company aims to assist small, medium, and corporate enterprises in generating appropriate leads and converting them into prospects The stipends for internships facilitated by BMCC vary depending on the company and role. On average, students receive stipends ranging from ?3,500 to ?15,000 per month. For instance, internships provided by BMCC have offered stipends within this range, offering students financial support during their training period.

Knowing BMCC as a businessmans perspective

Likes

The quality of infrastructure is very good and outstanding because the college is old but the things and memories are always new.
I liked the spirit of old students who passed out from bmcc who come to the ground every morning for their workout and colleger never stopped them to do that
I liked the discipline of college because ragging is strictly prohibited and id cards are checked strictly

Dislikes

Events and functions are focused more that studies.
Attendance is not mandatory so many people comes only imwhile assignment submission
Hostel fees is very high compare to college feess

Internships Opportunities:

I had not taken part in placement or internships so i don't know more about this , but many companies are there who provided internships. I know only 2 name 1 is ACA global and other one is a bank name i don't know. But overall placement and internships are best of bmcc

I liked the infrastructure of the college
I liked the teachers who are very friendly with the students
I liked the placement cell of the college

Dislikes

I disliked the compulsory attendance scheme
I disliked the number of assignments they give

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in placements from 5th semester. There are many companies which visited the college last year including TCS, Wipro, Tech mahindra, and many more. The average package for last year was 3.75 lpa. And the highest according to me was 6lpa. As many as 70% students get placed. My plans after graduation are either to do Chartered accountant or do an MBA

The BMCC experience:Academic,Growth and Beyond

Likes

First of all it’s a government granted college .
The teaching staff is excellent, experienced.
The campus is eco friendly which makes you feel better in campus .

Dislikes

There are no night events compared to other colleges .
It’s too strict and various rules and restrictions.
A lot of assignments are there which you have to complete.

Internships Opportunities:

Various companies give internship . The selection of internship is done in 2nd year. Mostly the companies take student on their knowledge not on marks . The name of companies are TCS,Deloitte,Wipro ,Redbull,etc.

Everything about bmcc!

Likes

The college campus is very good and surrounded by the old buildings and trees!
The coo-circular activites college provides is very helpful for students
The reputation of the college and the placement record is very good

Dislikes

The management staff is very arrogent which I need to be change
The college security guards are too very arrogent and need to change their nature
The teachers are experienced but not so good their some teachings are non understandable

Internships Opportunities:

The college is provided various internship, programme which includes vidhyarthi sahayak samiti hostel for needy students and Plenty of scholerships opportunity are provided in the college, fees concession is also given in college those who are not able to paid full fees

All about Bmcc, pune!

Likes

The crowd of college is good their are more students from outside pune, they are helpful students from various places are there..
The most positive aspect about the college is the old building and they have maintained their prestige since very long, all the construction is old eg, building, trees, offices..
The college also provide plenty of placement in bcom, the avg salary you can expect is upto 200000-500000 per annum and highest salary last year was 1200000 per annum

Dislikes

The management or the teachers, actually the staff did not care about student's, they just want assigment and practicals on time, if there is an emergency they didn't adjust...
Another thing is the college time, for bcom student's the college time is 7:30 to 10:30 am which is too early students coming outside the city area feel Lot's of challenges during traveling..
And the last thing i didn't like about my college is irregularity in sending notices to students, they didn't send proper notices to students, they send it an immediate situation which makes problems in decision making.

Internships Opportunities:

Their are various internship opportunity to my college, and also many companies offered placement to students including zomato, reliance retail, Barclay's and etc. And for needy students college offer hostel in vidharthi sahayak samiti which cost very low.

The infrastructure of college is very appealing and nice
The playground of college is huge and the size of a full cricket ground
The teaching faculty is very polite and kind

Dislikes

Canteen of the college can me big it is small for so much of students
Events are not entertaining enough and not lots of variety in events

Alliance birnstien, the small data store etc are the companies that offer internship These companies offer internship related to finance and marketing opportunities for students to Kick Start career for the students They provide stipend according to the job profile and letter of recommendation
