Admission to the college is based on the state sub-rank list derived from the NEET exam rank list, with allotment following the KEAM medical rank list. The faculty has received the chancellor's award three times for excellence. The college supports extracurricular activities and maintains a well-equipped library. The curriculum follows the VCI syllabus, offering a 6-month internship under the old syllabus and a 6-month externship under the new one.
