The college offers extensive job opportunities primarily in the public sector, teaching, field practice, insurance companies, private pet hospitals, and even abroad. While no campus placements are available, students often secure jobs in banks and government sectors after completing the Public Service Commission (PSC) exam, which is held every five to six years. The college provides strong support for job placement through professors and alumni networks. Internship programs are a significant part of the curriculum, with a current stipend of Rs 20,000 per month.

Under the new syllabus, the internship has been extended from 6 months to 1 year, conducted primarily within Kerala, with some parts in Tamil Nadu. The program includes hands-on experience in various veterinary hospitals and farms, providing valuable practical exposure. The internship is mandatory after completing 4.5 years of study and concludes with an additional exam and viva.
