Remarks

College is good enough for everyone. Nothing major negative about it. The students may be getting less exposure to academics outside of the syllabus. Only a few that are actively checking for them are getting the required exposure. The infrastructure is upgraded regularly and can be a haven for those who are actively seeking for extra work.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The present course is a bit overburden to the students, where too many of high quantity required courses are stuffed into a single year. Exams include 3 internal theory exams per year from which best two are selected, and an external theory and practical exam with a viva voice. Course period is a minimum of 5½ years and a maximum of 9 years. The silver lining are the two long tours: the south India tour lasting 10 days and the all India tour lasting 20 days, where you get tot visit institutions as wella s major tourist attractions.

Placement Experience

3

The college is under VCI syllabus and thus students undergo an internship training for 6 months in the old syllabus and an extra 6 months externship programme under the new syllabus. Internship allowance is currently at 20k per month for the BVSc course.

College Events

5

Freshers day, where you get to meet the fresher batch Christmas celebration including Carol competitions, Christmas tree and crib competition. New year's programme with a bit of student arts Interclass arts competition where the students' artistic skills are put to the test Intercollege arts competition where the college's under the university goes against each other. Interclass and intercollegiate sports, games and athletics College and University union inaugurations Various camps under NCC, NSS, literary, arts, sports, photography and cinematography clubs Film festivals Various academic programs such as symposiums, seminars, conventions, conferences

Fee Structure And Facilities

Quite feasible as it is a government run college, and almost everyone is provided with a scholarship. CES to around 28k per year for the veterinary courses offered in the college. What more can I write to make it in to 200 words. This is absurd.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is offering the university scholarship, the PTA scholarship and if you are a keralite you could also opt for the e-grants scholarship by the state government. Icar candidates can get the Icar scholarship. Minority students can also opt for the MOMAS MCM scholarship offered by the central government

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rates come to about 3.5k per month for food and around 700 per semester as rent and necessities. I don't have much to type to make this into 200 words. Why do you think it needs 200 words to say something.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is always close to the college as the community is a very small one. Alumni association is well active and likes to include themselves in the development of the college. They also provide financial aid whenever necessary as well. The alumni association also helps to find solutions for peculiar problems that may arise

Admission

Allotment according to KEAM medical rank list. But now it's based on the state sub ranklist made from the overall rank list of NEET exam. Admission is taken from the college or from the University HQ depending on the allotment

Faculty

4

The faculty is one of the best, with the university securing the highly prestigious chancellor's award three times in a row. The college also provides an adequate library for extra reading. The faculty also supports extracurricular activities and takes part in programs along with the students.
