I'm currently studying in bds course in ksdjc&h college. The fees per year is 275000 and a total goes by 1100000 which is for 5 yrs . This college provides internship in the fifth yr where we encounter with the patients and the college provides us with a fees of 5000 rupees per month.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I don't know anything about the tution fee increase policy, you can directly talk to the college management by emailing them. You can get their email address on the website of KSD Jain Dental College and Hospital. The complete cost of my education is nearly about 16 to 20 lacs rupees. You can directly interact with the college management to know about the scholarships and financial aid available for the students by emailing them.

Every year we are paying 15000 rupees for sports and not even a single sports events are there for girls

Fees which we are paying is very high according to the stipened we get, also being in dentistry a lot of instruments books and other materials have to be bought which is sometimes very challenging for middle to low financial class family. Stipened which we get in our Internship is very less

Life of a mediocre student at KSD Jain Dental College & Hospital

Scolarships are recognised and encouraged by the college. The course is quite costly as it is material intensive. Jobs are few and far between, all we have is a compulsory internship with meagre pay, which is still more compared to the rest of the private dental colleges in this state.

There is 2 types of fees, one is govt quota fees is 150000/year, and management quota fees 450000/year.other than that there are different costs like for instruments, materials, sports etc. There are few scholarship available.

My Experience in Dentistry at Kusum Devi Dental college

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee is pretty affordable. I availed at ?150000 per year through the State government quota while the Management quota is for ?450000 per year. An amount of ?15000 was taken every year for sports. The fee structure has been increased gradually through the years. Various scholarships such as Swami Vivekananda scholarship and Students credit card can be availed easily through our College. I still haven't completed the course as I am in Final year currently.

The college provides all the state affiliated scholarship as it is under West Bengal Health University. Besides the fees is lesser than any other private dental college in the state . The fees are needed to be paid in three installments.
