The infrastructure of college and the campus is quiet compact.
The food served here is purely veg and hygenic . The staffs are very polite.
It has large campus area with large number of students.

Dislikes

It is situated in quiet a odd distance area inside the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course at it provides 9 departments for the studies of dentistry. The student and faculty ratio is quiet proper as there is 4 professors 3 lecturers for each department. All the faculty has completed their MDS . The term exams are quiet moderate and are difficult to pass as the passing marks 50/100. The exams are held in three different parts Viva Practical and theory . I hope my answer was helpful enough.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

After completion of the internship finished by the end of five years from the admission the students starts getting placement after being the housestaff in certain private and government hospital or chamber . The percentage of students getting placement is quiet moderate as it is based on the marks of every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides all the state affiliated scholarship as it is under West Bengal Health University. Besides the fees is lesser than any other private dental college in the state . The fees are needed to be paid in three installments.

Campus Life

There is one fest every year and two sports event held in each academic year . The sports include football and cricket. Fests has certain number of events and all the students from the college as well as outsider students can take part . The amenities in the college is canteen gym cafeteria.

Admission

The college admission is done on the basis of NEET , national entrance eligibility test exam which is held for the studies of the medical field. The website is available on google . The course fees is 5lac 40K for state quota students and 18lac for management quota students. There are 50 seats for state quota and 50 seats for management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course comprises of huge syllabus . This curriculum is a great help as it teaches us the introductory part in 1st yr then the pre clinicals in 2 nd yr and gtom 3rd year we start our interaction with the patients. In the final yr er learn the various aspects of clinics. And in internship we start practicing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are very supportive and we have practicals and Clinical postings from 3rd year. We are given 10 patients each from 3rd year to treat. I think instead of two exams we must have two small weekly tests so that our memory power can increase.

Curiculum is extremely rigorous. You have to study everyday. Making mental maps is very important. Exams happen twice a year. Class test happens after each chapter to test the knowledge retention and better work on the weak topics.

In childhood, I had braces which influenced me to be a Dentist. I had a very bad alignment of teeth, I went to an Orthodontist and he made my smile look good and from that day I decided to be a dentist. This curriculum will make a person or the pursuer a dentist at the end of the course. After that, you can prepare for NEET PG or any other courses or Government Job.

Life of a mediocre student at KSD Jain Dental College & Hospital

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a professional course, and there is still demand. There are 9 departments in the college itself and each has 5-8 teachers. Medical subjects are taught by Medical College Kolkata and their respective departments. Majority of the faculty are post graduate and most are more or less adept at what they do. Final exams are conducted by the WBUHS, and they keep changing the timings of the sessions.

Aspirants need to achieve sufficient rank in NEET UG along with the various requirements to get into a professional course such as this. NEET UG application form can be found at NTA website. Firstly you have to appear for neet ug exam, this exam conduct by NTA once in a year. Exam conduct mostly in may and form filling process in the month of February-March.
