Likes

The college campus is nice , large , and clean
Have 2 -3 large playgrounds dedicated for football , cricket and any other sports
Have other facility like wifi enabled college , gym and resides a multi storeyed (10 floor) dental hospital

Dislikes

The fees is little bit on the higher side
Boya Hostel can be a little more developed

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching method and the examination system in no doubt very efficient As we know this college is well reputed and have the academic section according to that only. The teaching method is also upto the mark Smart classrooms are been used etc

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 2400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two type of fees structures , and this is implemented in every colleges i guess We have state quota (govt quota) and management quota. State quota are for students who resides in west bengal or have a West Bengal domicile and have crossed the neet cut off for this particular college ( above 530) . Now as per 2023 -2028 batch , the fees is 2,25,000 per year. Management quota is for all the other students whether belonging from wb or not , the fees us 6,00,000 per year

Campus Life

As per now my college life is being amazing We have different programs seminar occurring frequently Most importantly, some national level dental conferences are also being held here Other than that library is there housing every medical book you can think of Other than that computer are also there for educational purpose in the library Sports are also being held annually including almost all kind of sports

Admission

I chose this college because it has better over other colleges in west bengal Also i got this college because i have an appreciable neet score To take admission in this college firstly you have to appear for the medical examination that is the neet Then according to the marks you get, you can choose this college in the counseling round and get the respective seat (sq/mq) The cutoff is generally higher if compared to other dental colleges in west bengal Basically the cutoff is highest among all the private dental colleges in west bengal,to be honest.

Faculty

There are highly qualified faculty available in this college. Some well known professor, doctors in all over West Bengal and also India are present here. This college is under wbuhs University Basically we have 3 internal exams and 1 professional exam along with their respective prectical exams The faculties are very approachable and the relations with the students are also very good .

This curriculum is a great help as it teaches us the introductory part in 1st yr then the pre clinicals in 2 nd yr and gtom 3rd year we start our interaction with the patients. Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are very supportive and we have practicals and Clinical postings from 3rd year. We are given 10 patients each from 3rd year to treat. I think instead of two exams we must have two small weekly tests so that our memory power can increase.

Life of a mediocre student at KSD Jain Dental College & Hospital

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a professional course, and there is still demand. There are 9 departments in the college itself and each has 5-8 teachers. Medical subjects are taught by Medical College Kolkata and their respective departments. Majority of the faculty are post graduate and most are more or less adept at what they do. Final exams are conducted by the WBUHS, and they keep changing the timings of the sessions.

I applied to a number of colleges and finally got a seat in guru Nanak dental college. A very reputed college not only in West Bengal but all over India. I didn't avail of any quota facility while entering the college as I belong to the general category. Those who want to apply in the counseling process for getting entry into this college must qualify neet xam and should be 17 years of age or above. It's been almost 10 months I am in this college. The campus is very big with 3 playgrounds. It also has other courses like engineering, pharmacy, and hotel management. It's under the JIS group. It has a canteen facility and also a gym. Basketball court for the entertainment. Well planted trees, grass, and flowers. It has hostels for far-away students. Food quality is also good. Xerox room for additional help.
