There are lots of curriculum and seminar.. Seminar and meeting for density in every department.. Best part is the involvement of all facilities and students of all academic year.. Presentation is very good of all faculties

There is scholarship for state quota admission students and government scholarship is also available for all students... Minorities also have their scholarship for government..best part is principal sir is very helpful about these things

Haldia Institute Of Dental Sciences And Research has CALYPSO event.. Which is a fest event.. There is lots pre fest events.. Cricket tournament, football tournament, volleyball tournament and etc lot's of tournament are there

Admission

You have to qualify National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test and do councelling of West Bengal and take admission to West Bengal University of health sciences.. There is GEN SC ST reservation Admission is through councelling

Faculty

There is lot of facilities ratio is very high Faculties are great.. lots of knowledge.. They are also friendly and they teaches us whenever I want them to contact.. Also they are very communicable for students

This course comprises of huge syllabus . This curriculum is a great help as it teaches us the introductory part in 1st yr then the pre clinicals in 2 nd yr and gtom 3rd year we start our interaction with the patients. In the final yr er learn the various aspects of clinics. And in internship we start practicing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are very supportive and we have practicals and Clinical postings from 3rd year. We are given 10 patients each from 3rd year to treat. I think instead of two exams we must have two small weekly tests so that our memory power can increase.

Curiculum is extremely rigorous. You have to study everyday. Making mental maps is very important. Exams happen twice a year. Class test happens after each chapter to test the knowledge retention and better work on the weak topics.

The patient exposure in this curriculum is highly appreciable.The curriculum prepares us to do the best hand work in every possible manner.It prepares us to deal with the outside world independently.The course needs to be advertised a little bit,the awareness and view of people towards this needs to be improved which can be done by spreading awareness and providing more facilities to existing students in the field.The frequency and timing of exams are quite good as it prepares us for the best.

Our college is a dental college and it doesn't offer placements but it does offer 1 year of internship and 1 year of house staff ship . payment of intern and house staff is pretty handful . You can apply fot governments jobs afterwards

Life of a mediocre student at KSD Jain Dental College & Hospital

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a professional course, and there is still demand. There are 9 departments in the college itself and each has 5-8 teachers. Medical subjects are taught by Medical College Kolkata and their respective departments. Majority of the faculty are post graduate and most are more or less adept at what they do. Final exams are conducted by the WBUHS, and they keep changing the timings of the sessions.

A Short Glimpse of HIDSAR

Eligibility is based on merit . The process is completely NTA seat allotment based on the counselling process. To get admitted to MBBS or BDS course needs to appear for the NEET exam conducted every year. And, than through the counselling process you will be allowed a seat as per the rank.
