Likes

The teaching faculty of every department is top notch .
A Good campus to study for 5 long years .

Dislikes

Its developing so classes are not air-conditioning but will be done soon
Hostel facility is good but can be better .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dental curriculum is interesting as well as challenging at the same time . It motivates us also shows how difficult it is to perform artistry and bring a smile onto a patients mouth. Exams are conducted in a gap of every 3 months and helps us to evaluate ourselves.

College Review about Haldia Institute Of Dental Scienses and Research

Likes

The Campus of college is beautiful with full of greens, it consists of Gymnasium for both boys and girls, Boys and girls hostel , playground temple and a medical college in its campus

Dislikes

The distance form Kolkata is a bit long, other than this the climate around the place is hot at humid but for acquiring knowledge we should overcome that

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very well planned and focused for the students . Clinical postings are really helpful to treat the patients independently. It will be more better if we could get medical emergency management in emergency department.

A Short Glimpse of HIDSAR

Likes

The ambience is good a positivity is felt around. The teachers are helpful, classrooms are big for both educational and curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is a wholesome art, hard work, rejections - approval, learning. Sometimes depressing but it's worth it after we work on a patient and help them get back their beautiful smile. Curricular is hectic. The harsh reality is a lot of money is required to buy instruments, and materials. The rejection after working for hours, disappointment, loss of self-confidence seeing others doing the same thing perfectly bu t I can't. Sometimes, makes me feel whether I m in a right stream . But ,the guidance of professors, books, and friends at the end is worth it.

HIDSAR- DENTISTRY WITH ENJOYMENT

Likes

The infrastructure and the patient flow rate
The annual fest and the engagement of everyone in the college

Dislikes

The food of canteen is not great for human consumption
The attitude and behaviour of the canteen staff

BDS first of all provides a great future scope of the student knows the academic aspect and has a great hand work. The course helps you to understand the real day problem of people regarding their oral health and hygiene.

College faculties are co-operative..As the course is skills oriented so technical side is more good than academic side in the college.. Seniors are also good.. totally ragging free campus..

Dislikes

In some cases some faculties are very arrogant,behaves rude, also playing ground is not sufficient.. Stipend given in internship is very less..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is basically skills oriented..In dentistry practice is more important than knowledge..Rural areas are still unaware of oral health..It can be increased by campaigning through college staffs..
