since I am into design college practical knowledge is must college arranges lots of workshops and seminars from experts to learn more
faculty is good lectures and site visits are arranged for the students
decent infrastructure, it has turf small play area for outdoor games, gymkhana and small canteen
Dislikes
the institute is of 5 floors biut only 1 floor 2 floors are dedicated for architecture others floors is for degree coarse since the collge comes under NG acharya trust
improvisation in terms of infrastructure is not that good can be done better
fees and others stuffs seems expensive can be planned again
Course Curriculum Overview:
designs and art-related concepts fascinate me a lot, this is the main reason for choosing architecture
since the course is for 5 years it teaches you a lot about every single subject and also 5-6 months of compulsory internship in sem 8 gives an idea of practical practicing in the world of professionals
unnecessary electives can be canceled and instead of that more working studios should be given
examination and marking is very strict and it should be if you study concentrating and taking interest it seems easy.
My college has a small but clean infrastructure. It does not have ac though as it believes in sustainability. Fests aren't of that large scale but it is on us to make the most out of it.
The people are very friendly. The faculty is great and makes you feel confident. There is no barrier between juniors and seniors, everybody talks to everyone and hangs out.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The academic load is there but if at any point we have any difficulty in not completing the assignments, the faculty is understanding. It does affect the marks but you can always improve. The teaching schedule is planned and given to us. One main thing is that we started designing our own structures in first sem itself with plans elevations and sections and models of it. While the other colleges haven't done that.
I was passionate about it so I chose bachelor of architecture.
For every 40 students, there is one faculty who guides and inspires students.
Qualification of faculty is a qualified master of architecture.
Term exams were held twice a year and were decently tough.
CTES is the first ever architecture college to be founded in the suburban area. The well-structured courses and curriculum produce successful candidates along with the help of the faculty and management.
CTES is a pioneer institute in the architectural field, it takes responsibility in making every student a responsible architect with skills and knowledge and wisdom. it is also a great hub for the development of knowledge and research.
All in all, choosing this college is one of the best decisions. From admission to placement, from students to teachers, every aspect of this college is a thing to cherish forever . I strongly recommend others to make their choices this good.
