PCACS Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In the third year, the campus placement begins where you will be attending a job fair on campus also. The big companies such as Infosys, LNT, Hexaware, TCS, etc come every year and hire a large no of students with a minimum package of 2.2 LPA. The criteria for eligibility are already mentioned by the companies and also the package they will be offering. Almost 70 to 80 percent get placed and the rest opt for higher education or have other plans. After getting the degree I decided to opt for MBA.

Placements are provided to almost every student by big Big companies like Wipro, Infosys, tcs and others package starts from 2lac per annum but are contractual based some companies but have good work profile like senior tech support, junior software developer etc.

From semester 5 students become eligible for the campus placements. The companies such as L&T, Infosys, WIPRO, Capgemini, Cognizant and others offer opportunities for students to perform each year. The highest packages were of 3 lakhs and more, profiles offered for the companies were product manager, management trainee etc. After getting this degree I am going to apply for further studies.

Pillai has made a good rapport due to its students and multinational companies come for campus placements making it easier for students to get placed in any of these companies. Many companies such as Wipro, tech mahindra, L&T, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, nikia, zensaar had campus interviews with packages from 1.60L to 2.25 L per anum.

I choose this college because i might dare to say it has one of the best placements for B.Sc IT couse, recently they even tied up SBI to provide students job opportunity there. Not only that there are various other top companies lik L&T, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc selecting atleast a dozen students every year from this college.The placement cell head was one of our teaching staff and she works really hard for the students. The college also went autonomous (affiliated wid mumbai university) and it really helped with the grades of students. college gives a lot of opportunities for self development to students the only bad thing i might say that it wasn't strict wid attendance with the autonomous tag it even got reduced to 60% attendance from university's mandatory 75% percentage. The admission process is simple you just have to follow the mumbai university guidelines for getting admission (online process) and if for master degree you have to go to the college, enquire and apply. Offline admission to many bachelor's course is also there, you just need to go and talk with the staff. The reason i chose this college is that it isn't very huge and thus teachers take efforts to help students in every possible way (academic or extra curriculum).The college also takes extra care as to keep the environment inside and outside the college healthy.

In the year of graduation i.e 5 semester students become eligible for placement. Many companies visit the college some notable news are wipro,hexaware,nestle. I don't know about the packages. 40 % of students get placement in college. I am going to be an entrepreneur

From sem 5 students can apply for placements the college has their own placement cell with 80% of students getting their dream jobs. Companies such as L&T, Wipro, jio, tata etc has offered jobs. The highest package offered was 400000rs per annum and the average package was around 285000rs. My plans are to do a job and side by side do my PG.

Pillias college panvel have a good infrastructure and good teachers they also have good social media events and sports activities i dont know any negative things about this college yet or i would have shared admission process was online like you fill your form online at mumbai university website after that u fill college form and keep checking your name when the merit list starts coming if your name is there in merit list click on login portal and pay the fees of the course to confirm your admission then after the last merit list ends go to college to confirm your addmisison with orignal documents thats it its website is https://pcacs.ac.in/

Great faculty and other teaching staff, Infrastructure and overall cultural activities, big campus with modern facilities, its a excellent college with good placements, many extra curricular activities like sports, drama, fest.

PCACS is easily one of the most reputed top colleges in Mumbai, known not only for it's educational provisions but also for the diversity of activities and enthusiastic festivals. I opted for Bsc Biotechnology in this college only for this reason, because of this college's reputation and more promising extra-educational opportunities.
