- You can get a loan through the "student credit card" program at 4 % simple interest also you can get a swami vivekananda scholarship from the west bengal government.
- All the teachers are well educated and helpful, and most important their teaching style is excellent
- Comparatively better placements than other colleges in this tier and many job opportunities on the merit of students.
Dislikes
- Students are eligible for placement after 6th sem ..but placement are low because of recession and when i say low it's pretty less.
- Library is very bad and not at all good for self study
- You didnt get satisfying college in jee mains and looking for decent placement with low investvent you can opt this college.there are not much staffs in this college .

- Techno Main Salt Lake is one of the best private engineering college in westbengal
- It offers programs aligned with industry standards.
- It has decent placement records especially in CSE,IT
Dislikes
- TMSL is situated in IT hub of kolkata so Limited campus space.
- This college have no official hostels. But you can rent PG.
- This college have no big canteen it just have one cafetaria.
Placement Experience:
Students can became eligible for placement from 7th semester 4th year.Many company require a minimam cgpa of 8 and no active backlog. They conduct some Aptitude test coding test Technical Interview and Hr interview.
Many top company visit TMSL like TCS,Cognizant,IBM,LTI Mindtree, HCL etc. Lowest package about 2.5 lpa and average package was about 4lpa and highest package about 10lpa. CSE & IT have highest placement rate compare to core branch .

In my college there is a campus placement offered which is the best part of the college and average you can expect it rs 600000 and it can go higher based on your performances and skills there are alot of opportunities in this college

- Teaching and mentorship quality are quite good as compared to other clg
- Placement are decent in this year, approx all companies come here to recurring
- There is my clube in college eg iic and Samarth which provide my extra cariculam activity
Dislikes
- Really campus is very very small there is nothing in campus
- Girls boys ratio are decent. But in my branch approx total number of students is 70 in which there is only 12 girls
- One Main problem is buliding have approx 9-10 floor and there is only few lifts which is always full
Course Curriculum Overview:
Techno Main provides very different cources like CSE with Ai ml and CSE with data science and CSE with cyber security and many other you can chose any one of them really placements are decent. Yes they focus on real world problems recently I make a project on real life problems. My clg also give chance to take part in hackathon

- my college has best faculties and they summorise the things easily.
- my college has a separate lab room fully ac and its best part is its open for all students everytime.
- and thier is so many clubs and coucil that support students to fulfill thier dream like chess player , dance , cricket , football etc ...

- it has very small campus , as i expected .
- and thier is no separate vegetarians canteen in college. only mix veg + non veg
- to joining all clubs you have to pay and they give you merchandise that is tshirt of thier official clun logo

The placement of my College is good. It offers around 6 lakhs per year to the students. My College placement percentage is around 85 percent. After completing the course I will try for off campus placement.

Yes, students are eligible for campus placements in like there third or fourth year.
Several companies are arrived like TCS,WIPRO, Microsoft,etc.
Average package is 8 Lakhs and highest package is around 15 lakhs.
In CSE we got 90% placement and overall 75% students atleast got placed.

- Faculty is nice for computer science department
- Sports culture is nice and there is regular conduction of some fun activities like dancing singing and other things
- The college actively participates in every thing which is in trend and the coding culture is average but not bad
Dislikes
- Ther campus is very small,classrooms don't have AC
- Some faculty members are very good but some are not up to the expectations
- Non Bengali students face a hug back ash in this collage as most of the people are bengali and there becomes a language barrier
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement from 7 th semester onwards company starts coming from the mid of 4 th year. The average package of this collage is around 4-5 lakh an highest ctc is around 13-14 lakh which is got by 1-2 person only. The placement percentage is around 80-90%.

In our college campus placement starts from 4th year. In my college cognizant,wipro, infosis, pwc any many other companys says. In my college 70-80 percentage of students gets placed. And some go for higher studies

- The thing that I liked the most is faculty here... I'm not gonna say all faculty are good .. but some of the teachers are just awesome and you'll love to have them as your teacher..
- We have many events going on every 2-3 months where you can participate and play games or quizs and someone who is interested in drama or dance , arts or photography may join the contest and explore extracurricular activities...
- The college is located in one of the best place of Kolkata that is sector V salt lake, so you should worry about your 4 years as the locality is very good have lot of parks and many good area to explore arround
Dislikes
- The first and foremost thing I disliked was that our college doesn't have a hostel so a newcomer have to find a pg or hostel outside by themself... A clg without hostel life is just average and not great... So you'll miss some hostel experience.
- The college is not like some IITs so the college area is just average and not like some big colleges this may disappoint some of you.. as you'll not have much area to explore inside of the college
- The last thing that I disliked is for non-bengali students.. because here bangla is the most spoken language so as usual most of your classmates will be talking in Bengali and you won't understand a word and sometime even teacher switches to bangla..
Placement Experience:
The placement is quite decent (not really that great)
Infact the number of placement is decreasing year after year... And even the average package is also just 5 LPA ..
And not all the students get placed...
So tbh it is also one of the con of the college....
As placement is mostly for cse students and other core branch doesn't have much placement....

- Everything is fine from college methodology to everything but the faculty doesn't finish the whole syllabus before the semester exam
- Well i m a boy and i do have a good social life
- College fest takes place but upto a limit

- Few teachers don't finish the syllabus before exams
- Library is small not much people can accomodate
- Few elevators don't work i think that a negative point for this type of huge college

From 6th semester students do get PPO ( preplacememt offer) but for ppo u have to work really really hard but beside that u can get placement if u study seriously for 4 years. And the percentage of students getting placement is that i can say is 70 to 80% rest other 30% includes student who want to pursue MTECH or can go for business or goverment aspirants.
