NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law Mumbai: Admission 2025, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I applied for CLAT and SLC Pune and NMIMS Mumbai. As these were the only options that I had. I gave ILET too as it was my dream to study in NLU Delhi but just couldn't manage to get admission there and thus i came to my top option which was KPMSOL and our course is also approved by BCT.

I applied at NLU but only the top ones were my choice and beyond that it was a tossup between SLS Pune and NMIMS Mumbai. SLS Pune may be superior in rankings but definitely NMIMS being in Mumbai has certain advantages. The high court is here and major courts of the state are here and that was the main reason of choosing NMIMS Mumbai.

I applied NLAT, SLAT, AILET and probably every possible law exams that I can as me and my twin sister we both had an idea that we will pursue law and that too from the same college. Though I cleared SLAT and could have had admissions in Symbiosis Law School Pune, I booked my admission here as I wanted to study alongside her.

I applied at all private colleges such as Christ, Symbi, Nirma, Jindal and others. Jindal was like I wish I could have got admission at but because I couldn't stick with the challenges that JGLS brings, i chose this college as it is one of the best in class. Admission were done through NLAT and we had the option of choosing any branch of NMIMS.

I had applied to alot of collges but I chose this college fue to the ecposure the college as well as ghe place provides. Staying in Mumbai you can intern easily at a lot of places. The admission of the college is through clearing entrance exam thag is NLAT and you also get ig through your NLU ranks.

I gave CLAT in 2020 along with SLAT, MHCET and other private colleges enttrances. Before 2020, all private colleges excluding Symbiosis, gave admissions on the basis of the student's CLAT score. But then Covid came in 2020 and everything shifted to online mode including CLAT. I was a crash course student and did not clear the CLAT cutoff. I applied for Symbiosis Pune and Noida Campus, NMIMS, MIT Pune; these were the colleges which held their own entrance exam that year. Even applied for UPES Dehradhun and Nirma and they were still giving admissions based on the CLAT score. Got confirmed admission in UPES Dehradhun, Symbiosis Noida, Mit Pune and NMIMS Mumbai. I chose NMIMS over over other colleges because of the city adavantage it provides. Though NMIMS does not provide placements like other NLUs but its curriculum and college timings are st accordingly which gives the students ample amout of time to explore, network and go for internships.Also Mumbai have many repluted law firms as compared to cities like Dehradhun and Pune. Noida was chucked because of safety concerns. I was not selected for Symbiosis Pune and before Nirma, NMIMS released its results and I got a seat there. Initially NMIMS use to take students based on their clat score but in 2020 CLAT was getting delayed which led to NMIMS introducing their own entrace exam NLAT. And from then Nmims is following this pattern only. Their entrace exam consisted of an objective type exam of 60 marks. No interview was taken and they declared results within a week. It offers two courses BALLB and BBALLB. Till 2nd year both of courses have different subjects and from 3rd year they have same subjects. The admission process was all online due to covid and we were asked to send documents tike original transfer certifcate and others through post and rest of documents were uploaded online. The fees was paid through RTGS Net Banking then, now they have their own payment gateway for fee payment. ID with biometric scan entry

the admission procedure of my college is through their personal exam of NLAT which is not that difficult to crack. I didn't go to any other college because my parents wanted me to stay in Mumbai. NMIMS is one of the best colleges in Mumbai which has an excellent goodwill in the education sector, that was one of the reasons to select NMIMS over the other colleges. The admission procedure was quite simple and completely online

Admission process is pretty simple You can get into the college through either clat lsat or nlat Nlat is given more preference due to it being their own exam but over all it os is pretty simple Nlat is a pretty easy exam with a similar portion to clat

Nlat is also known as nmims law entrance test was an entrance test conducted online which was a smooth process no interview or wat was there. There was no reservation. The application fee was around 4000. Some people were getting net problems but re-exam was conducted for students who suffered.

I did take an entrance exam known by NMIMS LAT, the details were on the website of Narsee Monjee itself. Application fees were 4000 Rs. The course eligibility is 12th graduate and a minimum of 60 percent. All the further details are very well described on the website.
