KPMSOL is an amazing college!

Likes

It's the campus infrastructure as it is our of ordinary and entire building is centrally air-conditioned.
Unlike other law colleges where theres uniform dresscode our university doesn't have any such compulsion.
Top internships are provided by our college and we are also taken to high court during special cases.

Dislikes

Sad that our classes are still held in the old building of the university.
Only half the students are placed through campus and rest half has to find their ways.

KPMSOL still provides first class and top level placements. Litigation top companies like the Trilegal, DSC Legal, Khaitan and all are here for placements and apart from that a lot of corporate houses too come for placements depending upon the kind of expertise and lawyers with required subjects are available.

KPMSOL is best law suite!!

Likes

Best located college as it is near to the sea and Juhu Beach is just at walking distance from our college.
Mithibai and some other colleges are Crossroads and therefore young college students is what we are surrounded by all throughout day.
We have best in class college building which is centrally air-conditioned.

Dislikes

All three that is engineering, law and management college is in same building and therefore it gets too crowded during lunch breaks.
Intenrships are provided mostly in Mumbai while the hun for law is Delhi.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

NMIMS Law School Mumbai has given me endless memories!!

One can never be scared at NMIMS, Kirit P. Mehta School of Law as everyone is treated equally.
Since the college is in Mumbai one can make really good connections here.
Our building is a new building and is fully air-conditioned as each corner of the building we have AC feel.

Dislikes

Campus is very small as most students who come on their car has to park their cars off campus.

Placement Experience:

NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law Mumbai is best when it comes to law placements. Corporate Law is the biggest takeaway here and therefore most students here are placed in corporate as insurance and asset management companies are the ones that gives placements opportunities to students of our college.

NMIMS School of Law is a prominent law college!!

Likes

Our college is now at par with all the top private law colleges such as Symbiosis School of Law, Christ School of Law and Even IMNU.
Instead of semester, we have trimester here.
Academics are definitely the best and even better than NLUs.

Dislikes

Just a 8 floor building and out of which only three floor are ours as rest floors or or performing arts college or commin floors.

Placement Experience:

In our college placements start from fourth year and because top quality PPOs are provided due to intenrship we get placed easily. Also, we have various things to do at our campus when it comes to placements. Our CV has to be with atleast 8 internships done by the end of 4th year only then do we stand eligible for the same.

We have a competitive environment in college that is good.
The infrastructure is good like the classrooms are well designed.
The professors in our college are good and the course also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course as already mentioned is quite good we have alot of subjects covered initally in our second and third year only.We have specifications in our fifth year like business law, crime, IPR etc. Students can choose as per their intrest areas.

Nice college

Faculty The faculty is very good almost all are phd scholars and the teachers help in class as and when required
Students The students are good as they have cleared the entrance test and hence good exposure and competitive environment
Classrooms The classrooms have all the facilities like smart board and air-conditioned classrooms

Dislikes

NO CAMPUS AS there is only one floor allocated for law college
No sports in college as there is no ground near college and there are private grounds in mumbai
timings the timings for 1st and 2nd year is from 1 to 7 so no time to internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in law as there are many lawyers in my family and so was inclined toward this field. there are around 70 students in a class with 6 divisions so in total around 300 students are there in both ba and bba llb. Most of the faculty is good with Ph.D. degrees and some teachers are visiting faculty. Exams are more analytical in nature and hence able to pass.

Not worth to take if you are getting low grade NLU

Placement Experience:

Placement cells are very new in this college. Not much placement. Only a few students are placed. Some students are placed in good law firms. Some go for judiciary or litigation. Placement cells share the wrong details about placement.

Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai-Brief review

Placement Experience:

Right from the first year students can apply for assistance in getting internships with the placement cell of the college. As per the latest news, 2 students in their 4th year got placed in Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas with an annual package of 16 lacs per annum after they complete their degree. I am planning on continuing my higher studies after my degree. More than 25 leading companies from all over the country offer jobs to candidates and more than 80% of the batch got placed while others chose to study further and some started their own practice.
