The placement cell at the institute is active and provides substantial support for internships and placements. The first batch of KPMSOL is yet to graduate, but the management is making efforts to invite reputed law firms for recruitment. The average placement package last year was 8.5 LPA, with notable law firms like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas involved in placements, the latter offering annual packages of 16 LPA to 4th-year students.
More than 25 leading companies offer jobs, and over 80% of the batch secured placements, while others pursued further studies or started their own practice. The placement process includes mandatory internships, with students undertaking internships in NGOs in the first year and law firms from the third year onward. The placement cell facilitates internship opportunities with top-tier firms such as AZB, Khaitan, CAM, and others, although 90% of students secure internships through personal networks.
Internships in the initial years are mostly unpaid, with potential stipends averaging 20,000 INR per month in later years. Leading corporates like Tata, Reliance, and Aditya Birla Group also participate in campus placements and internships post the third year.
