Likes
- It's the campus infrastructure as it is our of ordinary and entire building is centrally air-conditioned.
- Unlike other law colleges where theres uniform dresscode our university doesn't have any such compulsion.
- Top internships are provided by our college and we are also taken to high court during special cases.
Dislikes
- Sad that our classes are still held in the old building of the university.
- Only half the students are placed through campus and rest half has to find their ways.
Course Curriculum Overview
Law because my dad is also a lawyer and he wanted me to pursue that and therefore he taught me the novelty that this profession brings. Also, he himself looked at the syllabus and asked me to join here as he felt that KPMSOL has the best law course out of all the colleges. We even compared it to NLUs and still he felt that our college has the best syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Tera, Trilegal, Reliance Foundation and likewise many more of such companies where law and law interns are required are the ones who offered is intenrships. Stipend was nil for the first three years and from fourth year a stipend of 8k was paid.
Placement Experience
KPMSOL still provides first class and top level placements. Litigation top companies like the Trilegal, DSC Legal, Khaitan and all are here for placements and apart from that a lot of corporate houses too come for placements depending upon the kind of expertise and lawyers with required subjects are available.
Fees and Financial Aid
KPMSOL is one of the most amazing colleges of Mumbai for law and it is arguably best in terms of features and academics too. The fees is also lower than quite a few private colleges who are lower lankes than ours like the SLC and Christ. Our fees is 4 lakhs a year and also no extra pay for placements training or intenrships.
Campus Life
Earlier it was NAVRANG, but now since last four years our annual fest is Meraki. One building which hosts all three courses, management, engineering and law. Sports facilities are indoors as outdoor we don't have. There are moot court societies and MUN societies in our college and most importantly we have best academic classes and library.
Admission
I applied for CLAT and SLC Pune and NMIMS Mumbai. As these were the only options that I had. I gave ILET too as it was my dream to study in NLU Delhi but just couldn't manage to get admission there and thus i came to my top option which was KPMSOL and our course is also approved by BCT.
Faculty
Our college has faculties like none else as not NLUs or the Jindal's, some of our professors are also from international University. Our professors also don't offer any freebie and they work very strict with them. Mrs Nalini Mehta is my favourite faculty who taught us IP (Intellectual Property) and has been teaching since last 3 decades.
Night Life
Around our college there are a lot of places. Juhu beach is the first hangout spots as evening sunsets and all is what we go and see there. For food food joints outside are college are also great and my favourite is Cream Corner and Big Pasta from there is a must try.
