City College Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course because it is a base of all accounting and financing career options and will help me to pivot anytime i want. There are about 10 teacher's and about 400+ students in my department The professors are highly qualified and has many year's of teaching experience. They teach using old method of intermingling with students and solve their doubts after lesson The sem exams are not timely held and are always 2 months behind. Passing is not difficult at all

Campus placement is available but it's not up to the mark, and after completing the course max of max 1 companies visit this college for campus placement, and if you don't get a chance then you have to find a job on your own.

I choose this course because I am passed out from commerce in 12. The faculty was not enough for the student who take admitted to this college if you ask me about the ratio I would say it's 3:7 The teaching method is quite good.

I chose this course because I took up Commerce in my 8th Class, and would like my career to focus on this stream. The faculty is enough to handle the students. Teachers are sufficient. The office faculty members are sufficient to handle the administrative processes of all the students. The teaching faculty is good enough. But they don't conduct enough classes to finish our syllabus. They don't attend our classes even if we have a particular subject in our routine on any given day. In short, the teachers teach well, but they are reluctant and a little irresponsible and don't guide our students well. The even semester exams are held around June - July. The odd semester exams are held around January - February. The exams are held around the time is quite regular every year. The exams are quite easy to pass if we have a basic idea.

I am a commerce student. City College is one of the best oldest colleges in our state. This college is under the university of Calcutta which is also a well-known university. this college is quite famous for its business department. The faculty of this college is good. The corporate with students. Their teaching method is also good. They help students with their studies. You have to do a proper study to pass the exams.

I chose this course because I was good in accountancy, I love to do sums and accounts problems and I want to become a CA so I opted for this course, this is a very scoring and good course you can go

I was a commerce background student so I choose it. Faculty:- 22 Teachers including HOD Faculty were most assistant professors and senior professors with at least 5 years of experience. Exams were conducted twice in college before the final exam and students had to follow classes and attend practicals to get good marks.

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Tata, Microsoft, Amazon etc visited our college and about 7to 9 lakh package they have given. Higher package 1crore and lower package is 10 lakh. About 90% of students get placement. I want to work in Microsoft, Google.

The College is Good for studying, one of the best in Kolkata. The fees structure are very low with respect to the other Colleges. The hostel rental house are available near to my college. The facility members are really nice.

The fees structure is complete reasonable for all. As it chargesvfew amount so that everyone can pay it. No extra fees is not charged by the college.people also like our college because of feasible structure of fees.
