The college is actively involved in extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC. Starting from the 5th semester, students can participate in the placement process facilitated by the college's placement cell.
Prominent companies such as Wipro, IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture participate in placements, with over 130 students securing jobs this year. The highest salary package offered was about Rs 4 lakhs per annum. Wipro also provides internships, while Younity offered a non-stipend internship. The BCA program fee is approximately Rs 45,000 per year, with slight variations depending on academic performance and year. For example, students scoring above 80% in 12th grade pay about Rs 42,000 in the first year, Rs 43,000 in the second, and Rs 41,000 in the third.
Some students reported paying Rs 46,250 annually, including various fees, but excluding tuition and development charges. SC/ST students may receive full fee waivers through the Post Matric Scholarship program. The college is accredited with an A+ rating by NAAC (2023) and is affiliated with Kurukshetra University, which holds an A++ NAAC rating. Though the college offers good academic and extracurricular opportunities and supportive faculty, it faces challenges with limited high-package placements and internships.
Nevertheless, it is considered a good value for money.
