The importance of educating the women of our society was well known by the great visionary Swami Dayanand Saraswati and keeping his ideology in mind the college was established in 1958 by a group of Arya Samajis. The sole aim of the College is to empower women and help them build a multidimensional personality so they can cater their needs and the needs of the society with changing times. The college that started with a few students is now attaining new heights and provides excellent results in every course it offers.

My review about dav college

Likes

Ragging doesn't exist here even at small level. Students doesn't discriminate on any basis.

Dislikes

Liabrary and computer labs is not well maintained. Library has not proper lighting and not even a single computer work properly.
Infrastructure is not good. Basic necessities like drinking water and washroom is not provided properly.

Admission:

The admission are on the based of merit list on the basis of number conducted in class 12. You have to fill the form on haryana portal. Cut off is not much high. And overall admission process is not so much hectic.

There is no girls to boys, Ratio as it is an all girls, college only

Dislikes

The students are not allowed to use lift
The College area is very small and congested

Admission:

When I applied to colleges, it was very late, so I could not get any better College . I applied to other colleges in Karnal like Dayal Singh College and many government colleges as well, but since I was running late so I could not get admission but the DAV college in which I'm studying right now is like kind of a private government association one so they got me admission by charging me extra 1500.

Admission:

One of best college of our city. It offers most of events and sports opportunities to us. It also offers a wide range of courses and has a well trained teachers. The principal is also of a very good behavior.

Admission:

Overall college is very good. They are actually very good. Our college won many positions in inter-college and inter-university competitions. If you are looking for the educational side, it the best but if you are looking for on-campus placement then you have to think.
