Dislikes
- Lesser facilities as of now , various faculties of science stream has left college so new faculties are react to come
- Unnecessary restrictions and attendance charges that are applied on the student who are absent in lecture as is it already given in the college proforma that sure attendance with which will only cost 500 a month
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BCA because there is a worst exposure of computer nowadays The curriculum is already very bouquets and as per today is norms the syllabus of this BCA the non-NEP Jo syllabus is lacking techniques that has been already introduced in the modern world Dear must be more advance apps and computer systems in the labs of the students they must be more technical work and practical work The semester went all in the curriculum activities and also there we get less time to prepare and there are two much holidays in the examinations
Placement Experience
From 5th semester itself we are eligible for the placements The most known company Wipro has higher the student for internship The highest package is of 4 lakhs per annum approx as per my knowledge There about more than 150 students who are place yet
Fees and Financial Aid
I completed my BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) from Dyal Singh College, Karnal, with a yearly course fee of approximately ?45,000. While the affordability was a significant factor, I had mixed feelings about my overall experience. Pros: 1. Affordable fees 2. A+ accreditation by NAAC (2023) 3. Affiliated to A-grade University of Kurukshetra (A++ by NAAC) 4. Excellent exposure to NCC and NSS activities 5. Various academic and non-academic opportunities 6. Good faculty support Cons: 1. Limited placement opportunities in multinational corporations 2. Few internship options with lesser package offers 3. Could improve industry connections and alumni network Verdict: Despite some drawbacks, I believe Dyal Singh College, Karnal, offers value for money. The college provides a nurturing environment, and its accreditation and affiliation speak to its academic quality.
Campus Life
The college holds many activities whether it is academic a non academy as per the events approximately 5 events in a month. There are huge amount of book according to the faculties are available in the college library. There are lesson faculties who are aware of the technology is the do not use the technology is they just use the usual process of teaching that is blackboard and chalk. There is a was exposure of extra curricular activities in Dayal Singh College as already disclose about the exposure of analysis and NCC and also sports department in other activities on the behalf of college. Where is students of this college are also part of other NGOs which are already being run in Karnal.
Admission
This college is counted into best college of the Karnal as it has accredited with A+ grade in 2023 by NAAC Admission process is very easy as it is also free by the faculty of college we are only ask to bring some documents like past dmcs registration forms the OTP also the course fees after the registration
Faculty
There are about 3000 students and there are about 150 faculties. The best thing I like about the faculties that the program officer of NSS and NCC are very much in touch with the students who are already the volunteers or cadets. There are literally zero facilities I dislike There is a semester based examination and the marking is totally based on KUK curriculum When it's come to my personal description I would rather say the marking is very much correct
