From the 6th semester, students at the college can participate in placement activities. Renowned companies like Infosys and Cognizant have conducted recruitment drives on campus. Most students, who do not opt for further studies, engage in campus interviews and secure job placements. The college also assists in securing internships with NGOs and hospitals, although these are unpaid and require students to cover associated costs.

Additionally, students participate in a Student Research Project (SRP), a group-based mini dissertation with guidance from professors, which helps them learn research methodologies. SDM is known for providing affordable and high-quality education, with a fee structure that is particularly favorable. Female students receive a slight discount on fees. Scholarships are prominently displayed on the notice board using colored paper to attract attention and inform students.
