The library is pretty good, big, beautiful and i like it.
The fee structure is pretty decent compared to other colleges and you get a lot of scholarships and financial assistance in our college they even provide cash prize awards for 1st 400 students every year.
The placements are good and internship also provided the average package is 6 lacks and in this 2024 year the placement percentage is 98% it is very good compared to other colleges good work culture is there

Dislikes

the restaurant system, unlike the mess system here they have restaurant system which i absolutely hate
Four semesters a year, which is very heavy and burden to the students
and dinner is closed at 8pm.it is difficult to survive

Likes

The campus is very good and attractive for freshers, nice play ground , good infrastructure and maintenance, Non teaching staff is very good . The main intresting thing about our college is it's greenary it's is one of the major plus point.
Security is very strict which is good in controlling students and their informal activities that's happening in college.
The website of our college called " saveetha arms " is very good ,it's like a common platform between college and students. Everything is reflected in it like academic performance, results,awards ,co curricular activities,fees etc...

Dislikes

Teaching staff is not that good. It's common to have some facilities who are not skilled much so it's the major drawback of our college
There is no limit for the admissions . The college strength is very high which is difficult to make every student placed in job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Rankings:sse is accredicted with an A grade by NAAC and secured the 43rd rank in the national institutional rankiing framework
placement opportunities:70% placement requiring students to secure at least one job offer to be eligible for their degree
focuses on project based learning allowing students to gain practical experience

Dislikes

food and hostel facilities: some students have reported dissatisfaction with the maintainance of food in the canteen and hostel
examination process challenging ,it can be difficult to pass exam mostly they will make sure to fail students in exams
students to secure job offer for obtaining their degree may add pressure on some students

in my college it is good in academics as compared to other colleges because the teaching was good ,good lab claases is there,per year 3 semesters will happen.they will conduct more exams to practice and give good guidence to pass the exam

Quality of study and teaching from faculty
Quality of food provided by canteen was very clean and neat
Classrooms are good looking and very clean

Dislikes

College timings is too early and strict at attendance timings
Attendance manditary percentage is too high
Less number of holidays,it was less than 10 days

Actually I don't like the way the courses are alloted here students only select the rondom course from their list of subjects including faculty also student will choose but frome this year they totally changed and it was good curriculum

Beyond the books adventures in college Life

Likes

There is a good communication skills in our college and also having the so many digital class in our college I like college infrastructure also
I like the college auditorium and college library
I like the way of the exams they are conducting in our college

Dislikes

Some teaching staff are not good at all in our college
Faculty members will not interact with the students
Some faculty didn't know any skill and they can't say subject at all

In our college there is good curriculum and better academics and they can improve teaching methods like using many digital classes and live experiences about the subject then only students can easily learn and they can study easily

Good college give us good knowledge

Likes

The infrastructure in our college is very good and the class are in advances level with smart tvs and projectors
Tje faculty is very friendly and also help us in every situation or any problems we are facing in exams
The courses are very good and which is very help full to het job

Dislikes

The collge timeing which start from morning 8Am to evening 3pm
The fee structure is very high and they hike their fee structure every year upto 5-10%
Low importance to the sports and the extracurricular activities

Firstly all the professors and ast professors are PHD holders irrespective of department
This college follows slot system which has only 2 subjects and can be moved to next subject by writing its university exam
Events, culturals and clubs are completely university funded

Dislikes

The attandance system in which you need to maintain minimum of 80% for each subject in each slot
The mentor system in which mentor acts as a guardian in college and involves in everything.
In the slot system you will not find time to read the subject because university exam will be within 40days form the registration.

Placement Experience:

As i have already mentioned college offers one of the best placement offers compared to other colleges and intuitions .Even this college paid internship fro second year onwards. The highest salary is 49 lakhs per annum and average package 12 lakhs as per annum.

It has best infrastructure and good atmosphere inside the campus

Nothing as much I loved every bit of my college life

Placement Experience:

There is not much of semesters but if a student completed his 160 credit points by choosing the subjects according to their credits are eligible for campus placements Companies like Accenture , Capgemini, Avasoft, Cognizant have made a visit to our campus for placements and highest package of our university is 25 lakhs per annum it is during when I passed out but now I don't know what's the highest package and the percentage of students who got placed is 92 My plans after degree is to work in a place where I can earn more money for time being and save the money as investment to begin a business

Best facts to know before joining saveetha school of engineering

Likes

1) The infrastructure here is very captivating. Every class room is very ventilized. Most of the classes in certain buildings have centralised ac's. Even if there is no ac's in some , there would surely be good no.of fans. Clean RO water is everywher
2) You can easily find support here. You face a problem at hostel? You can freely speak to them and the officials would surely resolve your issue ASAP.
3) Huge no.of resources. If you have enthusiasm to learn something then you will surely find resources here. Be it from libraries to social clubs.

Dislikes

You can't go out easily. This may sound like a very gvery good thing for strict parents but even if you are hosteller , to go home you have to follow strict protocol
Attendance percentage must be 80% or above to write an exam

Placement Experience:

By the end of 3 rd year, most the students here will complete their courses and would be ready enough to face the corporate experience. The faculty here encourages students to take part in global summits and conferences. Most the students take the 4 th year to build projects and gain experience. But since beginning of 4 th year you can companies setting up placement camps around the college.

Our college has much guarantee on sports
Our college has much good guidance faculty

Our college has very strict rules and regulations

People around me doesn't study well except me

Our college has different type of curriculum like they follow one week course to finish the syllabus in few years and they trying students to get into placement and they training us to get job for poor people

Likes

We have flexi learn system were we can choose our own course
Infrastructure was good and well structured class room
Our course duration was 3 months so it is very comfortable

Dislikes

In our college lab room have to be improved
Washrooms and hostel rooms have to be improved
Attendance percentage for course have to be reduced
