Saveetha School of Engineering (SSE), established in 2006, is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated to Saveetha University, Chennai.

The college offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. in the fields of Engineering and Technology. At the UG level, the college offers B.E. and B.Tech in 12 specializations. At the PG level, Saveetha School of Engineering offers M.E. and M.Tech in 17 specializations each. Along with these, the college also offers Ph.D. in Engineering. Apart from these the college also offers Lateral Entry admission to direct the second year for B.E/ B.Tech.

Applications are invited in the Online mode for the course offered by the college.
Candidates applying for B.E. and B.Tech should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English from a recognized board to be considered eligible for admission.
Admission to B.E and B.Tech. is done on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by TNEA Counselling. JEE-Main qualified candidates are also eligible for admission.
Candidates applying for M.E. and M.Tech should have passed B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized university.
Admission to M.E. and M.Tech is done on the basis of valid score in TANCET/ GATE.
Applicants for Ph.D. must have a Master’s degree in Engineering with 55% marks in order to be eligible for admission.
Admission to Ph.D. is done through the marks scored in UGC-NET followed by counseling held by the university.
The college offers 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

Saveetha School of Engineering offers B.E. in 12 specializations and B.Tech. in 12 specializations at the UG level with a total intake of 240 seats. The college also offers Lateral Entry admission option for direct second-year admission to B.E. and B.Tech.

Admission:

This is the first and only college which i have applied for the college . The thing which made choose this college is its infrastructure, ambiance and the selection of the subjects and faculties. There is no limit for the admissions . The college strength is very high which is difficult to make every student placed in job

My first preference is given to BHARATH UNIVERSITY in Tambaram, chennai. But my cousin completed his graduation in saveetha . So that's one of the reason that I have joined this college. Even I am ok with our college by listening to the situations of other colleges feeling that I am greatful of joining this
