Jawahar Engineering College Chennai Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The highest package was 90 lakhs per annum and the lowest is close to 8 lakh last year. Companies like HSBC, ITC, Accenture, Cadbury, ONGC , Infosys, Cisco Systems, Barclays, Bharat Electronics, etc. Usually, on an average, every student will spend any one year summer on internship.

From the 4th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement even after the 3rd year they get interned at various companies. Around 50 companies visit our school every year. The highest package last year was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is around 3lakhs per annum. Around 90 percent of students get placed. My plans are to grab a placement.

No, many companies not know like this college in chennai city. And not communicating to any company by colleges side and dept. But last few in mech dept getting campus through the department staff arranging the campus for them.
