Selection Criteria

The candidates are selected based on the merit in the class 12 followed TNEA Counselling
TNEA Merit list is prepared based on the candidate's marks scored in the relevant subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at 10+2 level.
The authority publishes the list of the candidates based on which they will participate in the different rounds of counselling.
Applicant can participate in the counselling only after the successful payment of the initial deposit. Hence, they must submit fees in the given time frame.
According to the payment schedule of the rounds, candidates have to submit the initial counselling fee through online mode of payment i.e. Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit card.
Now candidates need to fill the choice of course and college i.e Jawahar College of Engineering.
After choice filling, candidates have to lock the filled choices on the third day of the commencement of counselling.
Post locking, the system will allot seats to the candidates based on their rank.
After the final allotment, candidates have to reach the allotted college before the last date mentioned on the provisional allotment letter.

Cutoff

Cut-off is the minimum marks required for the admission of students. The candidates will be selected on the basis of these cut off scores. How to Apply for Jawahar College of Engineering 2024

Candidates need to apply for TNEA Counselling in order to take admission in the college.

Fill the online form with correct details by registering on the official website i.e. website of Anna University
Carefully fill all the personal and academic details
Upload recently clicked colored passport-sized photographs, thumb impression, and signature. Follow instructions accordingly in case of offline application.
Complete the payment process by using a preferred mode.
Keep the application form safely so that it can be used in the later process of selection.
In the case of an offline application, a newly clicked colored passport photograph (not more than 3 months old) is to be pasted. The signature should be put in a very clear manner.

Admission:

I even opted for imu cet but I didn't go because the placement here was very good. I got a seat here from the SC quota and scoring 94 in class 12. The admission process is quite hectic. You have to run to the College around 10 times only for admission procedure. They'll call you again and again.

Counselling, You need to get gate in entrance itself then you need to go administration office for admission process the will tell about college and infrastructures and faculty are there. This college low fee for engineering colleges and also in chennai city itself.
