To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

Merit & need-based scholarships like [your scholarship name] & financial aid exist to help.
The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

Is SRCC worth the hype

Likes

Faculty of the college. Highly qualified , dedicated and best in the university. Always helping and supporting
Infrastructure of the college the amenities, facilities particularly sport complex and new auditorium
Society culture as it gives exposure and instills entrepreneurship improve skills like communication, team building and personality development

Dislikes

Toxic culture everyone obsessed with career exams marks internship and placements
Attendance policy of the college as 70 percentage of attendance is compulsory which is counted considering the non core subject as well
Exam pattern and curriculum not updated and old school internal assessment structure is very complex

Placement Experience:

In the 3rd year of college or 5 semesters, the placement cycle begins. Big companies and MNCs come for placement and recruit freshers for different job roles including finance consulting, marketing, etc. BCG, Bain, Blackstone, Mckensy, HUL, and Big 4 are the companies. The highest package was 45 LPA this season and the average package is 10 LPA. I am aspiring for an MBA after college.

Shri Ram College of Commerce: An Insight

My experience at SRCC has been great till now, with me getting good exposure, meeting and making new friends and being part of and managing college events.
I like the campus vibe despite the limited size. The greenery, the natural environment is also great.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about my college is that the students are over-competitive and the environment sometimes become toxic.
Also, the attendance structure has been a little bit strict, which might limit the flexibility to students pursuing professional courses like me.

Placement Experience:

Students at SRCC become eligible for internships from 3rd semester and for final placements in the third year. All category A, B & C companies come for campus recruitment ranging from McKinsey & Co. to JSW Group. Companies like Deutsche Bank, HUL, Kearney, Golman Sachs, Deloitte, KPMG recruit the students. The latest average package for 2023 stood at 10 LPA and the highest was 35 LPA. A large number of students get placed, barring some who don't apply for placements and internships due to specific reasons or plans. Moreover, some are placed as CA Article assisted in the Big Four that come during placement cycle. Those who don't avail placement benefit generally appear for CAT and do an MBA and some give UPSC. The students can also seek the off campus jobs which give appriciable value to SRCC students.

The name of the college, SRCC, adds a lot of value.
The sky-high placement records of the college.
The sports complex of the college is something to be proud of.

Compititon - there's a lot of compition in my college
Extra curricular activities - a lot of extra curricular activities are organised
Placement and internship opportunities are given in the college

Dislikes

Some of the teachers are very rude and treat students like nothing
There is politics in college societies which is disadvantageous to a lot of students

It has consistently been ranked as No. 1 college for commerce in whole Asia.
A very diverse crowd from all over India.
Amazing placement records from past many years.

Dislikes

Maintenance of Infrastructure is not upto the mark.
Sometimes allotment of some faculties get delayed.

SRCC is majorly known for it's placements only. It has one of the best placements across whole Delhi University offering highest package of 35 LPA in 2022-23 placement session and average package of 10.15 LPA. The Story of SRCC

Likes

SRCC gets attached as a brand name to your name if you study from SRCC.
It has a very good crowd which adds a lot of exposure.
It offers really good placement opportunities.

Dislikes

The Faculty members at SRCC are not at all friendly. Instead they are very rude.
The infrastructure and it's maintenance is very poor.
There is a lot of negative competition among the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is amazing as a lot of students get placed from the campus in big MNCs like KPMG, Deloitte, EY, etc. But there is a huge competition between the students for placements. An equal no. of students go unplaced. The students become eligible for placements from 5th Semester. In the placement session 2022-23, the highest package offered was 35 LPA and the average and median packages were 10.15 LPA and 8 LPA respectively.

Likes

The sports complex and the classrooms which are fully aur conditioning
In winters the library and classroom are fully insulated with heaters
The student society culture is best here you get a lot of exposure here of corporate

Dislikes

Regular attendence issues as a lot of students can't mantain the 75% criteria
Timetable comittee of college is a bit excessive and they just do whatever they like for ex putting a class in morning and next class in afternoon and whole day gap
Administration is very strict sometimes and the principal is also very strict

From 5 semsters onwards you are eligible for campus placement our college offers a lot of placement opportunities in compies like ey , dellotie , American bank ,etc and the top mncs . Mostly all students eligible for placement who sit in placement cycle gets a placement I will try to take a placement from my college after graduation.

Likes

Forest scenery and view of the college overall.
Classrooms teachers are very helpful for me.
I like the way people help each other and behave.

Hostel could be better with good ac facility
The people are very toxic sometimes leading to problems
Better organisation of class timings and everything.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities. Maximum is around 44 lakhs while minimum is 4 lakhs with an average of 10 lakhs. Almost all students who sit for placement get placed one place or the other. There is a lot of scope here.

The teachers were helpful in all aspects and we're my guide.
The opportunities here are limitless .
The hostel facilities are one of the best.

Dislikes

The hostel could have been better in its way of handling issues.
The college could have been more structured in a better way.
The students here are sometimes toxic, which is a problem.

Placement Experience:

The students are offered placement from 3rd year. Companies like HUL, Blackstone, Morgan and Stanley, etc come for placement. Highest package is arround 44L CTC but average is 10L. Almost all the students who sit in placement get placed.

Likes

Sports complex is indoor , sauna bath room , gym , physioroom and medical room is also tgere.
We have the best library , fully digitalised system ,
Administration is best , faculty members are very nicely teaching .

Dislikes

There ia a nerd ambience here , you'll feel peer pressure.
The interal question paper ia hard compared to other colleges.
Strict attendance policy unlike other du colleges.

Placement Experience:

Srcc's placement is the best in Du , highest package offered was 46 lcs this year , placement is currently happening only , the least paclage which i saw last year was 6 lacs the average package was around 10 lacs . Students are eligible for placement from5th semester , thats is , 3rd year. Name of the companies which came and offered placement include McKinsey , Deloitte , Black salt , HUL ,Zomato , etc. Almost everyone gets placed . Im planning to go for masters in economics after the undergradation . I'll try to get into DSE or Mse or ISI or any other good college.
