What is the eligibility criteria to Get Hostels at SRCC?

To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

What are the Cancellation Charges of SRCC?

If the admission of any Students is withdrawn the students must Cancel their hostel admission the students will get a refund amount of INR 5,000 after deduction from the total fees paid by Candidates. However, actual mess expenses, electricity, and water expenses are to be paid by candidates.

Does SRCC Hostels provide any Concession in fees to the Physically Handicapped?

Yes, Physically Handicapped students are exempted from payment of hostel fees as per University of Delhi Guidelines.

What is the SRCC Hostel Fees?

The total SRCC Hostel Fee is INR 57,850 for SRCC Boys and Girls Hostel fees.

Which Candidates are exempted from getting Hostel in 2nd and 3rd year?

The Applicants who failed to get a Minimum of 70% attendance in a previous academic year are exempted from getting the SRCC hostel rooms.

SRCC have the best teaching faculty for all courses.
SRCC being the top tier college have the best placements with top consulting firms and BIG 4
The campus have superior infrasture, know for its red brick building, it has fully air conditioned classrooms as well.

Dislikes

SRCC have limited number of hostel seats

Internships Opportunities:

Excellent internship opportunities in second year of the college with reputed firms across consulting, finance, marketing and analytics. Strong support from placement cell and societies helps studenrs build strong profiles.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Likes

I like the placements. The highest placement is 36 LPA and average is 10 LPA. If you want good placements then it is one of the best commerce college
Opportunities- you will get many opportunities in terms of events, internships. It easy to find best opportunity for you. College itself has many opportunities you can get and grow your career.
Networking- I am among the most brightest minds of the country. Here I find great people to network with. Which will open many doors and opportunities.

Dislikes

Attendance - there is strict 75% attendance policy if you want to sit in placements or internships
Infrastructure- you will not get very good infrastructure as campus is old built and small.
Very high competition- since it is india best commerce college here there is very high competition among batchemates for placements, internships etc.

Internships Opportunities:

Various big companies come for internships. Like bank of America came for Analyst role with 1.5 lakh monthly stipend with hotel stays but it with 2 open position only. Some startups provide internships with 10k to 20k per month.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Teachers- very knowledgeable, and always ready to take the extra effort for their students
Peers and placement opportunities, Alumni network too

Dislikes

Infrastructure and horrible Wi-Fi. Didn't expect such bad wifi in Aisa's no 1 college. Also the infrastructure is very limited and old
Less internship opportunities compared to placements, and very strict attendance system.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

SRCC: A Love Hate Relationship

Likes

The environment is very competitive which at an extent pushes me to find myself
SRCC provides with me a lot of opportunities, so I think it deserves the hype.
The faculty is amazing, and they teach us using unique perspectives, engaging methods and truly try to make the classroom alive

Dislikes

The competitiveness sometimes, turns into toxicity, which does take a toll on our mental health

Internships Opportunities:

The average stipend for internships in the college internships is 45000. There were 120+ offers of gross value of 57 Lakhs+, with the highest internship of around 2.2 Lakhs. The Placement Cell of our college provides various opportunities for internships for the second year students. The roles are diverse and in the consulting, marketing, finance, manegement and communications domains.

I like the society culture at our college because it enhances our learnings outside classrooms.
The corporate world exposure in our college is unmatchable.

Dislikes

I think we need a good canteen with tasty food.

The internship season has almost begun(it's end of September) and our CVs are almost done and vetted by the placement cell of SRCC. There are over 100+ internship offers to the students of our college, including some very famous companies like bain and company, Deloitte and BCG.

SRCC teaches us how to cope struggle!!

Likes

Every interest is catered through college societies like finance, music, dance, stocks and so on.
Students are quite easier to make friends with as majority are outsiders.
Faculties are even more easier as they hardly say no to what we demand from them.

Dislikes

Just one thing and that is that our boys hostel only have 50 seats and therefore had to find accomodation off campus.

Placements at SRCC for B.com are legendary and students of SRCC have got the packages worth 20-30 lakhs as well. Average is also around 5 lakhs or rather more because the corporate where we get jobs are bigger and better than what other colleges have.

SRCC teaches you to never hold back!

Likes

I like the Graffitis on the walls of our campus as it's amazing the way they are done.
One can have an as engaging college life at SRCC as societies will never let you sit idle.
Faculties will definitely blow away your minds as they are so good at teaching that a long face in class means we have understood everything they taught.

Dislikes

Only thing I disliked is the schedule of the college as such early classes for a late riser is a tough thing to follow.

Internships Opportunities:

Again it's financial companies as those involved in managing portfolios like Bain Capital, Nomura and others are the companies where we get placed as intenrs through college. Proper rounds are held before getting selected and stipend offered is as good as otherwise colleges placements.
