- I like faculty because the teachers are very good and very helpful.
- Campus life is just great there is a very much unity amount all the people and the colleges actually great and its very much united it's very strongly united which is the best thing ever.

- There was not any dislike thing , but one thing i am not satisfied is about the canteen , the canteen food was not quite good
- This college is in road side, so vechicles violence is there
- The toilets are very dirty and lack of sanitary is observed

- Even after being a government aided institution, regular classes and attendance take place. Sometimes when any professor is busy, or couldn't attend the class, the college inform us from before hand so that no student faces any harrassment.
- All professors at Asutosh Mookherjee college are very much approached and they conduct classes very seriously and explains lucidly.
- The college is located on the heart of South Kolkata which makes it easier for transportation. The college is situated just beside Jatin das park metro station Gate number 2. Bus routes are also available which drops you just in front of the College.
Dislikes
- I'm disappointed with the political climate at Asutosh College but unfortunately it is prevalent in almost every govt aided colleges in West Bengal.
- Asutosh College faces challenges due to it's urban setting and lacks a green campus.
- The Asutosh College's hostel is located approximately one hour away from the main campus which is quite problematic for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Updating outdated syllabus and provide critical problem solving abilities based questions could be of great help.
Calcutta University provides 3 hours for 3 questions which is of 15 marks each and I think it's quiet justified.
Asutosh Mookherjee college provides internships on 2nd, 4th, 6th and final year and hands on hands training and workshops which is very useful in today's world. The University also provides research opportunities for students with or above 8 CGPA and so does Asutosh Mookherjee college.
From the very childhood, I am fascinated to the world of literature, read books and write letters which led me pursue English hons as my Major.

- Environment of the area, supportive nature of the professors
- Good communication with professors, supply of good equipments
- Helpful senior and staff members in the college
Dislikes
- College infrastructure like it always under construction
- Canteen food as we are college students and the pricing of the food is extremely high
- Sitting arrangements as their are huge amount of students but the classroom provided is too small
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am pursuing BA honours on the subject sociology as sociology is a very new subject to the society so when I start reading the subject it seems very interesting but not only by saying but when you start reading the book or the chapter or the information that are provided in a sociology book it is very helpful you get to know your society in a much better way science maths commerce and other subject are also useful but when you study sociology maybe you don't have much job opportunities but if you learn the thing you can get a better thinking about what is going on in the society and you can relate your life with it and if you start relating what wrong and what right you can choose your career or future accordingly

Asutosh College is among the most reputed colleges in Kolkata. It has a legacy of over 100 years. It has brilliant professors and offers good academics. You can study freely here without involving in any politics.
Despite the misconceptions, classes are usually regular and there is rarely any interruption due to any political issue. You don’t need to take part in student unions or politics if you don’t want to.
Asutosh College has an ideal location in central Kolkata. You can easily reach the college by metro or bus from any part of the city.
