I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

In my course I have learnt theoretical things as well as the other things which are needed in today's life. I have learnt MS Excel,R coding,C programming,SPSS and some computer courses which are included in the course which I'm persuing. So this is very good to learn these things together with the course .

• I always loved plants, trees and forest as my father is from Forest background. So, I wanted to walk on his footsteps and do something is same background. I always dreamt of making a change in the society and serve the society so I choose Botany subject. •The curriculum is planned in such a way that we learn both theoretically and practically, we go on field trips where we interact with common people and do surveys that will help us in future while working on the department •There is no such areas that needs improvement, I like the way it is going on and the teaching method is also nice, only the thing is there should not be so many classes in one day, as a student gets very exhaust •The frequency and timing of exams is that in sessional its 25 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes and its easy to moderate, and 2nd is final which is of 50 marks with 2 hours 30 minutes and its moderate to hard

I choose this course i.e. department of Botany because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

The curriculum is well designed so that it can help you for M. Sc preparation and CUET PG and GATE B. There is SEC i.e. skill enhancement course that hones on skills of particular. We has nursery and gardening and teaches us so many skills of how and when plant can be harvaested. They take us for field trips to different places. We visited Sikkim and got to know about orchids and how to harvest it amd many more. We even visited BSI SIKKIM and the collection of herbarium was awesome. We had the talk with the director of BSI too. The curriculum can be a bit improved if there were more practicals included that hones the skills more. The exam is not that difficult you ca clear it if you study regularly for 2 hours atleast. The exams occir twice a semester. One is sessional for 30 marks and finals for 80.

In the new curriculum system , one student who belongs to science background should have to choose subjects from arts background which helps us to open mind for more career options. The curriculum including study area prepares us for real world application or further academic pursuits.
