What is the fee structurefor the PGDM program?

Ans: The fee structure at SJIM is INR 4,90,000 for the first year and the same for the second year. Total fees for the PGDM course is INR 9,80,000 andcan be paid in 4 installments.

What is the cutoff score accepted by SJIM for admission?

There is no fixed cutoff for taking admission in the Institute. The accepted exams for taking admission in PGDM are CAT, GMAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. A candidate with a higher score in these exams will be given preference. However, for MAT, a candidate must score a minimum score of 550. While filling up the application form, enter the score of all examinations if appeared. Your best score across the different exams will be considered.

Are SJIM and SJCBA the same institute?

Yes. St. Josephs Institute of Management (SJIM) was formerly known as St. Joseph's College of Business Administration. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and NAAC.

What is the difference between PGDM and MBA?

In India, PGDM and MBA are both 2-year full-time programs and are thus equivalent to each other. While an MBA is granted by a university or a college affiliated to a university, a PGDM is granted by institutes. Good ROI and vibrant B-School of Bangalore

The fees structure is very nominal compared to other B-Schools and the college provides scholarship opportunities for merit and financially weaker students. Fees are around 8 Lakhs and increase by 20-30K every year. There are scholarships for candidates who have taken CAT/XAT/MAT. There are merit scholarships. there is also another name merit cum means scholarships for economically poor category students.

My experience at SJIM

The institute offers merit and merit cum scholarships for 30 students every year. The fees are paid in four installments. The first installment was Rs.200000, the second installment was Rs. 190000, the third installment students were required to pay Rs. 200000 and last installment of Rs 190000. The top 10 students of the first year and second year are offered merit scholarships. The college also offers scholarship for students from low-income families, families whose annual incomes are less than Rs 400000.

Life at SJIM

The fees of Rs.8,00,000 is to be paid in four instalments, two each year (Rs.2,00,000 each instalment). There are three types of scholarships available at SJIM. For students in the top 10 (CGPA more than 7.6) are given a Merit scholarship each year. For students in economically poor category, ten students every year are given scholarship.

The fees at SJIM are comparable to the other top B-Schools in the country and comes around 8,30,000 for two years. SJIM also provides scholarships and financial assistance to top meritorious students every year.

The fees at SJIM are moderate and it also provides scholarships to students on three bases namely, merit scholarship, scholarship for EWS students, and for Christian students. Placements at SJIM are good. The highest package this year was 22 lakh per annum and the lowest was 5 lakhs per annum. Coming to internship, the highest stipend for this year was Rs. 50000 by Morgan Stanley.

Quality education, 100% placements and good Values

Fee is on par with most colleges but is lower than IIM's. No additional charges (except hostel) but free access to large volume of journals, publications and databases that the college subscribes too. Multiple scholarships available on merit basis and also in the form of fee concessions for Students who need financial aid.
