Great placements given by the college as well as great job opportunities
Sports and extracurricular activities are wonderful over here, everyone enjoys living in the campus since the campus includes everything,seprate library,sports ground,clubs and portals are also being run over here
Tuition fees is very cheap compare to lower colleges since it is a government college which provides best education as well as best facilities to the students, scholarships are also given in great amount

Dislikes

If you looking to accomodate in college hostel then be aware of the fact that college mess is very bad.
Academics of this college is not good, studnet have to study by there own. Many teachers are not good at teaching.
hostel facilities are not that good, no good hostels.

VJTI for me is a dream come true!!

Likes

Amazing sports facilities will be my first like about the college.
Even after 140 years nearly of its inception, it still is among the top engineering colleges in the country.
Both academic and extracurricular activities are well balanced here.

Dislikes

A bit of professionalism lack from contracted faculties is the biggest drawback here.

Placement Experience:

It looks like the college does late in giving us the chance because we are ready from 1st semester itself. We don't have a choice but to wait until we are into our final leg. Top companies like Schneider electric is our branch's favourite. At next, it's Siemes which also hired a majority of student. 10 lakhs and rather more is what students of our branch are paid for their services.

VJTI is a treasure!!

Likes

Gymkhana is too good as it was recently renovated.
We already have one sports ground and are on the verge of occupying another.
Canteen is one but enough to ensure that it has enough space and enough itenary in the menu to satisfy our number.

Dislikes

Only the distance from the local Mulund station.

Placement Experience:

Our training starts early but as rules are rules that until you enter the 7th semester, you are not eligible for sitting for placements. Most students e are placed before the final semester in companies like CG, Philips, and others. Average placements for our department is between 10-12 LPA.

VJTI makes you tough!!

Hardest working professors is what I have seen thus far at VJTI.
Industries have set up their own labs and many guest professor's and industry professionals are invited to make us learn in those labs.
Beautiful campus and some old heritage architect to announce that we are one of the oldest engineering institutes of the country.

Dislikes

There is still no Wi-Fi available for students.

Placement Experience:

Without entering the penultimate semester students can't sit for campus placements. Colleges placement cell takes care that everyone gets a fair shot at it and that maximum students are placed through campus. It takes time but most students with an average package of 10 LPA are comfortable placed from VJTI.

VJTI has industry backed labs at its campus!!

With a reasonable fees and the kind of labs and other practical facilities that we have, I think private universities that charges a bomb should take a learning from us.
Have talked about the labs but since enginnering means long hours, we need food to fuel ourselves and for that we have two great canteens.
Placements are getting better and better and better by the day.

Dislikes

There are many contractual faculties hired and they are not where close to the permanent faculties.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are not an issue as almost 70-75% students are placed through campus. From Siemens to L&T every company has looked upon us as an institute to look forward for placements. Getting 30-40LPA package is every year's story at VJTI and average stands at 10 lakhs or so.

VJTI is Mumbai's gem!!

One of the biggest campuses in Mumbai after IIT Bombay and KJ Somaiya.
The college is built over 125 years ago and that heritage building and remains are still present inside the campus.
Placements are key and in our college they are next to IIT Bombay.

Dislikes

Location ka not great as metro station is still not built and for those living in suburbs, it is difficult to reach the college by changing local trains.

Placement Experience:

From the final years, we have placements campaigning going on all year round. For our department almost 20 companies showed up last year and Gabriel India and Phillips have always been the besr recruiters of our branch. It was lovely to see that one of our branch student was hired with a package of 30LPA.

Placements is amazing it' is comparable with some of the top nits and lower iits also almost all the companies the name you have been heard of the alumni of our college is working there
Mess food is really good they do not serve you the watery curry the give you good food not to good but satisfactory
Alumni network of this college is very strong some of the alumni of the college is billionaire and some are millionaire

Dislikes

Infrastructure the college is not well maintained and it does not contain the proper water facilities and some ac in the classroom are not working
Fest the fest are not up to the market yes they do brings good personalities but they are not comparable with iits
About strict attendance the college is very strict about attending lecture you will barely get free time

Placements are good as avg is around 7-20 lpa
The college is very old and hence the reputation of college is high
Professors are experienced and supportive

Dislikes

Campus is of 16 acres which is small according to me
College building is very old although renovation is in progress
It has low research opportunities as compared to other colleges at par

Highest package was 50lpa Avg was 9lpa Companies like microsoft also visit for campus placement Also many reputed Indian companies like relience , TCS also visit the campus Placement percentage is decent about 70-80%

The activities which is conducted in vjti is just wow ! And very much interesting it just helps the students to develop individual personality and also helps us to grow more in life.and built up the confidence on the another level and very much good
The mess is just wow ! The food provided by the clg mess is just wow and very much delicious.ane also affordable like we need to pay 100 rupees pr day that included breakfast dinner and lunch .that 3,000 per month need to pay and food is too tasty...
The events of rangawardhan is most interesting part of vjti ,which always ready to create one another level of Marathi josh among the students and also preserve the Marathi culture .so interesting it is just wow and superb and energetic it is .......

Dislikes

The campus colour and building is so old so I want that they should change the infrastructure completely becoz this is the only weak point of vjti other than that vjti is just 10/10 in every sense .The infrastructure must change soon .Hope so it will
The building should be renovated newly soon .
There should be gym for girls and boys and should increase the no. of seats of hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placements in vjti is just wow ! There is no doubt in placements as the vjti offers 100% placements opportunities to the students of every branch . Average package and highest package varies from branch to branch but can consider 9 lpa is an avg.

I am studying in 1st year right now , but seniors says that placements are up to the mark . For my branch the average package was around something 11lpa and for cs and it it was around 18-19 lpa which is good

INSIGHTS OF VJTI

I like the affordability and ROI we get after the placements from this college
I liked the fests and college life that we get here. Fests are awesome here.
There are many clubs that we can be part of many opportunities are open for the students via this clubs, say racing club, say robotics, dramatics, cultural, technical and many more.

Dislikes

college infrastructure is not that good its just ok as college is more than 100 years old.
hostel facilities are not that good, no good hostels.
Academics of this college is not good, studnet have to study by there own. Many teachers are not good at teaching.

Placement Experience:

Placements of VJTI MUMBAI are pretty good and more than I expected, even better than COEP PUNE.
