Department of Business Management of the University of Calcutta proffers 2-year full-time MBA with intake of 33 students and (MHROM) a full-time duration of 2 years duration with intake of 30 students.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Medical Science/ or other professional courses or equivalent discipline with minimum 50% aggregate to be eligible for admission.
Admission into either course is given based on their merit in CAT/ MAT and other national level common entrance test followed by the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.

- Candidates with NET/ SET/ M.Phil. scores are exempted from PET.
- PET is a written test of 3 hours duration with 3 papers covering topics like General Studies & Library & Information Science.

- Attach the required documents.
- Submit the application form through post.
- The application fee of INR 1500 (for MBA course) is to be paid through DD in favor of “Pro-Vice Chancellor, Calcutta University” payable at Calcutta.
- For Ph.D. program, candidates shall pay INR 100 through challan (obtained from University’s cash counter)
