Remarks

The college had been there for a comparatively a long period of time, that is since the 1970s. The department boosted on a strong alumni background and had a better student yo teacher ratio. The fees for the college was very less compared to other colleges. The college also provides placement facilities as well as internship options. The college also hosts several events such as debates and meeting with business leaders. However, the college has a comparatively less number of permanent faculty. Similarly, the placement cell has to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The benefit to cost aspect of the college is appealed to me the most. The presence of experienced professors was also another factor. The student to faculty ratio was really healthy, 8:1. All the teaching faculty had a PhD. The teachers used projectors and PPTs to teach classes. The first two semesters are the hardest.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The companies that offered an internship to the student of the industry included Woodlands Hospitals, Pepsi Co, Nirmal Bang, Dabur and Pantaloons. The roles were specific to the specialization of the students. The project assigned to each student was different.

Placement Experience

4

The student would be eligible for placement after their second semester. The companies that visited the campus included Bandhan Bank and Axis Bank. The average package has been around 3 lac per annum. Around 40 percent of the student got placed. My plan is to get a job in content writing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was extremely low at only 16500. The Exam fees were around 200 per semester. There is no financial assistance from the university. Scholarships are comparatively rare. The department provides placement and internship for the students. However, the percentage of placed students is low.

Campus Life

3.5

The university hosted a large number of events like meeting the business leaders along with different seminars and debates. The university also had a small playground and some indoor games. The classes had projectors. The library had a decent number of books and journals.

Interview Experience

3.5

The topics for the GD included female empowerment and rising inflation. The interview question included a different type of question from a different background also about the different expectation from the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
